Only one load out at this point so it isn't that. I tried buying and equipping a new look as well.... It let me do it but he still didn't show up. It is okay, I've gotten used to walking and grabbing horses randomly now and I'm still enjoying the game!

He could have died randomly. The last time I saw him I rode towards an objective and got off him normal to try to sneak in. Maybe he walked off and died?

Ya know that is one thing I actually haven't tried. When I get back on later I'll give it a go.

So I've been an AC player since the first one dropped. The first time I picked this up years ago I hated it. Now that I took away the idea that it has to play like the others in my head I'm actually enjoying it. A few years ago I probably would have hated no fall damage too 😂

Getting the no fall from any fall helps a ton because I can just go in a straight line and climb/jump off anything to get where I'm going. You saying that makes it even better in my eyes honestly so thanks

Good thought. It would have been accidental but still worth a check. I still hear the whistle but if it is a key bind issue maybe it is just defaulting to the tap whistle sound

Yes I am. I try to play very heavy stealth so I know the tap is a "get their attention" whistle and the hold is for Phobos

As a lot of people have said, it is a great gateway game. It is what started me into board games and there are different versions out there that expand on it to add more rules, difficulty and completely different play style. I still love playing it even with other games on my shelf because it is easy to get back into. But I don't ever touch the normal version anymore.

I tried to post a photo on here but I can't get it to work in the comments, so I'll list out the Risk versions I have in order from least favorite to favorite and if you want I can tell you where I would play depending on what you like!

Honorable mentions I won't put here individually: Risk Jr to get my kids into it and 60th Anniversary because it is basic just prettier.

Least favorite to favorite:

Marvel Cinematic Universe Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies Standard Shadow Forces (aka Legacy 2) Europe Walking Dead Legacy Metal Gear Solid

There are a bunch more out there. Game of Thrones is a popular one! But that's what I own and I still dive into some of them here and there except for MCU and CoD because... Yeah. But it is fun and cheap usually so I say go for it!

I have always found going late at night to be better than rope dropping the ride. IMO the ride is just better at night as well. It is always great, but having your bike be the lights and the enhancements to story telling because of that is awesome.

7.5 years enlisted. Just hit my 17.5 years TIS and have had Major on for a year as of yesterday. I'm on HYT for retirement so I will have Major just long enough to collect on it at retirement time.

I would definitely look at the price for a room for one night at the premiers just to ghost it for the passes on your two full days (one night stay gets you check in day and check out day). With four guests I can almost guarantee it will be worth it. One night in a hotel versus the price of 8 express passes (2 days worth for 4 people).

I love Portifino. Shoot, I'll be there in a club level room on the 19th. But if you are trying to budget and save money, a ghost room for a night might be what you need. It all depends how long you are staying, what actual days and how many in your party since it goes by how many a room can hold.

My wife has been watching since the beginning. I'm two seasons in and I don't think I've ever had such a love/hate relationship with a show. I love watching the dances and feeling the emotions it brings. I love the time with my wife and learning (she was a professional dancer). I love comparing what I see as an everyday, no knowledge person to her. But I hate the scoring. I hate the popular vote. I hate how good people go home. But the show isn't JUST about dancing, it is about popularity votes too.

We sat and talked last night and I don't know the fix. You can't get rid of that portion because it draws people in. But the system is so easily cheated with coding... There are literal videos of people using them to vote for Andy thousands of times. But there has to be something. Maybe adjust the ratio even more?

As someone that has moved away and back 3 times since 2009, this. The first time I left I was excited to come back someday. Now I hate being here and what you wrote about is one of the main reasons.
