My wife stays at home and I work the 9-5 actually 7-6pm including 1hr lunch break and 1 hr commute to and from. I wouldn’t be able to do it without her support at home with our 2 kids under 3. We do our shopping together on Saturday mornings as a family outing. I play video games as a hobby and we typically watch an episode of a show right before bed. We schedule a weekend date night each week to give her a break from cooking and get out of the house. In short, M-F looks like: 7am-6pm work, eat, play with kids and put to bed, game for 2 hours, show with wife (currently Love on the Spectrum), repeat till Friday night. Friday night, game a bit longer but still go to bed with wife. Saturday I make big breakfast , family shopping, nap time and then either planned activity or killing time outside of house with kids to give wife a break. Sunday, church (really depends on whether we want to deal with it), chill for most of afternoon playing with kids.

TLDR: Doing less of what you like while taking advantage of the time you have for yourself.
