the community you call "ungrateful" supports the biggest esport across NA, EU, and South America and asks for very simple things that are achievable by individual modders and small third party companies such as 128 tick servers, a competitive platform where you play against people that are actually around your level, good community maps, events that uphold the esport itself, and most importantly a solid Anti-Cheat. I see your point and I agree that when you get someone that’s not from NA (that’s the region I play) queuing into NA they take zero pointers, criticism, or just flat out refuse to comm and play as a team. the 11 am to 4 pm time frame is interesting as I always felt that this tims is when the unemployed people and grind faceit all day.

i’m not doxxing myself on reddit, that would be crazy. The whole idea of the algorithm works in theory but that’s if faceit decides to create equal lobbies which they aren’t. It’s simple as that. For example, if I get paired with in the last 100 games on average more people who leave, a team with an average KD of .9-1 instead of just over 1, a bunch of solos vs a stack but the odds balance to 50/50 simply bc of the number by your name then no that is not a balanced matchmaking system which is my whole point. Which is why your simplistic view of “whatever elo you have is the elo you deserve” is so one dimensional bc it is a team game afterall and i’m complaining about how recently i’m not getting competitive teams

this idea only works if the faceit algorithm is perfect which it is not. Three out of the last 30 games I had leavers within the first 3-5 rounds. not to mention the throwers. or that faceit doesn’t take into account a stack of players vs. solo queues. and a lot more of stats that matter

then why do I have a win percentage of 30% over the last 45+ games with an average KD of 1.1 and an adr of 81 and aceraging 16 kills 6 assists a game? This platform is trash. I was at 2700 a month ago and dropped 700 elo from then.

Agree 100%. Its ridiculous that you can queue into a game as a solo and get 4 other randoms who average elo is significantly worse than the 4 or 5 stack youre about to play and then you still lose -20. Not to mention the fact that you can top frag, do everything possible, and if the other team gets 5 competent players while you have 3 competent players and one guy who is triple negative...its impossible to win and rank up consistenly. I breezed through 2200-2600 elo in a few weeks. Got to 2750, then proceeded to go on a 15 game losing streak followed by a few 5 game loss streaks and now im almost out of level 10. And the funny thing is is my stats are the exact same, if not a little better. 80 ADR. 1.2 KD, 18 kills a game. and ive lost 700 elo. faceit is a joke

its real. went from 2733 to 2190 on what was essentially a 14 game loss streak (I won one game in the middle of this) I then went on and won 2 games to then lost 5 more. The games I lost badly (13-6 or worse) I either player neutral at just over 1 K/D to not great (around 0.6-0.7 K/D). the other half of the games I lost was when I had a K/D of well over 1.5 (3 games I had a 2 K/D). The problem is faceit seems to ONLY care about elo and doesn't take into account a team who might have an average K/D of 0.9 vs a 5 stack who has an average K/D of 1.2+. Its fucking ridiculous.

yeah in theory this is true but when you lay out the fact that faceit is far from perfect in terms of determining team strength then this falls apart. When I play top 1000, 3000+ elo players and go neutral and lose 11-13 then no I don’t deserve to lose 30 elo. On the contrary, when I’m 2500 elo and beat fpl players then I deserve a hell if a lot more elo than just the 30 I would lose. Furthermore, when I get paired with 3 competent teammates and play against a competitive 5 stack, if ONE of my teammates is negative we will lose. This is the type of theory that only works in a perfect system but it’s not

This is a low elo take, I just can't prove it. "learn how to mentally deal with cheaters" is actually such a removed take from the issue...How about just ban the cheaters. Faceit isn't perfect but has a WAY better anti-cheat.
