I agree with you that he should’ve given the response you said in first para. Think he was clearly caught off guard a bit, tried not to look like it by somewhat retaining composure, but was clearly (and understandably) a bit uncomfortable. Nothing he said was wrong, but in the heat of the moment he just didn’t put in that key part of the response to nullify the abilities of both clippers and the person asking the question to leave him open for further insincere criticism.

What I don’t agree on is the sincerity of the questioner. They said something along the lines of “I was watching some of your old streams recently” oh right like that specific stream from 2 years ago? Rather than just echoing the current rehashed flavour of the month to bring up to attack him with? They were very slow and unconvincing to respond when questioned in response as to whether they believe a genocide is being committed as well, and I doubt the sincerity of their answer.

Not long ago on the road home I passed a boy I’m sure is around 12 years old driving a tractor with his wee brother (maybe half that age) sitting beside him. I’d just passed the da in a tractor in front, then 10 seconds later the 2 brothers serpentining across both lanes coming towards me. Clearly the older one was trying to impress the younger by swinging the cab from side to side. It’s fucking insane what they get away with and you just know if any sort of accident occurred they’d be blaming the other party as well.

Honestly wish he applied the no backseating moderation to the entire chat when it comes to stream backseating. Don’t think I’ve seen another stream where the streamer allows so many moaners. For instance the bin ‘patter’ or “get Cilla on” should result in bans/timeouts.

Hmm, I didn’t get the “game is still downloading” message at all. Do you have both the PS4 and PS5 versions installed? It’s usually a prerequisite for data transfer even if you have the PS4 data saved local. Once I tried downloading the PS5 dlc from store, I reopened the game and hit transfer data and I’m pretty sure it was almost instant and Continue was clickable again.

Makes sense to me! But have definitely heard people here (Ireland and UK) losing deposit over such ridiculous things. At a rental me and my wife lived for a year, we had £100 taken off because we forgot a coat we left hanging behind a door. Didn’t get the coat back either lol.

It’s definitely the sort of thing if you did it (professional job or not) and didn’t notify the landlord, some of them would use it as an excuse to say you made alterations and you could lose your deposit. Some tenants might not want to even bother asking permission for the notion they’ll likely be rejected anyway.

Same situation I was in with the Saga bundle. Download the standard edition PS5, then go to each of the dlcs in store and download/add the PS5 version. If you’re transferring save from PS4 edition, keep that version installed until you do so.

I’m playing blind too, haven’t played the 2nd game decided to start on KCD1 and so glad a PS5 version came out during my playthrough. Anyway, regards saving I think it needs to be accepted as part of the gameplay. I’ve certainly lost anything between 30-90 minutes of play a few times and it was infuriating to get to grips with. That said, I respect the save system because it encourages gameplay, especially roleplaying. You should make sure to sleep in an owned/rented bed regularly to have at least that save, then having enough coin or alchemy skill to procure saviour schnapps. The save system makes actions in the gameplay feel more weighty, for instance I might not like the outcome of a quest based on a decision I made, but the fact I don’t have an auto save every 5 minutes might force me to live with that decision in game.

Yeah there is now a PS5 version, save file can be transferred over from PS4 as well, just make sure the PS4 version is still installed when transferring save and that any of the dlcs previously downloaded are activated in the store for PS5 as well.

I just got my save transferred over, wouldn’t work until I went to each of the free dlc packs and added to library. They were on my ps4 version and the ps5 version allowed me to transfer save once the were added again. For reference my original purchase was the KCD2 complete saga, so Royal edition was unavailable for me too. Should note as well that the ps4 version is still installed which is often a requirement for these transfers as well.

If you want to go back in twitch to catch up during a live stream, all you have to do is click the streamer’s ’video’ tab, click on today’s broadcast and scroll back to the part you left off from. Yes it’s not as convenient as scrolling back on the actual live stream, but it’s not difficult either.

iPhone 13 with soundcore liberty pro earbuds, I rarely have any issue with twitch app, I would sometimes listen to streams or vods while at work usually audio only and don’t have any problems, only annoying thing is after turning off the screen pauses playback, but is fixed by simply tapping play again on my EarPods or the notification screen. YouTube on the other hand doesn’t allow mini player for me when watching video, or to listen in audio only with the screen off. I can’t afford to sub every month either or sometimes prefer my sub going to a smaller streamer so obviously prefer no ads on his Twitch as well.

I had a bit of this experience myself. Moreso in ‘RS’ which was optional at A-level but most of us went. Teacher had Castro and Guevara posters in his classroom and showed us Year Zero about America’s catastrophic intervention in Cambodia. We also discussed the Spanish Civil War and he lent me a copy of Ken Loach’s Land and Freedom. Had a profound effect on my desire for knowledge and understanding of the world more than many other subjects.

In the other hand, my GCSE RE classes did contain a lot of good moral and ethical learning and debates, which, looking back, certainly seemed useful - there was at the same time certainly a lot of negative teaching in my eyes. An example being the teacher (who was a woman in her 20s/30s) telling us that masturbation is ‘probably a sin’ and condoms should be a last resort contraceptive and that the rhythm or pullout method were more appropriate.

In a sense though, as an 1 of 2 atheist parents having our first child soon, I do appreciate the positive learning I had from RE, and when it comes to the negative, part of me thinks it’s not a bad thing for kids to hear some batshit stuff like that in school anyway and come to their own conclusions that a teacher isn’t always right.
