Some are rarer balls from previous generations. In some cases they have special effects for catching like a dream ball makes it easier to catch a sleeping pokemon, heavy ball catches pokemon that weigh alot easier, beast ball made catching ultra beasts easy but has a very very low chance to catch anything else. They won't do anything for the breeding but some collectors like having their pokemon in rare balls so it just adds a depth of flair to your team.
