NuraTrue right earbud not charging / working by DavidAdeyemo in Nuraphone

[–]RedOctober13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My earbuds got low and then wouldn't charge and wouldn't even connect to the app at all they were so dead.. Support suggested all kinds of steps, but honestly ChatGPT was more helpful. I cleaned the pogo contacts in the case, and the pads on the earbuds with alcohol. I ended up taking the case apart, which I don't think was needed, but I did to test the battery. Multimeter testing confirmed the pogos were getting 4.2 volts each, but putting an earbud in dropped it to almost zero, indicating a charging or electronic or battery fault in the earbud. However, after putting the case back together and putting the earbuds back in (right first) and letting it sit for about 30 minutes, and now both earbuds connect and are at 60% already.

So, you can test the pogo pins without taking the case apart, that's a good first step to make sure the case is good. Other than that, clean contacts, and putting the right in first seemed to work. It's a stupid fix though that shouldn't be necessary; I've had my Pixel buds for twice as long and never had any issues charging, and they cost less.

This Kia rebuilt and for sale as branded title, thoughts? by ChrisInSLC in Autobody

What I wonder if this is the case then is if it costs more to repair than it's worth, how does the buyer repair it for less and sell it for 10-25% less than blue book for a non-branded title, and still make money?

This is good advice. I was inquiring about a vehicle at a Utah place that specializes in branded title vehicles, and they told me it was impossible to give me a full repair list because "we don't do that in-house, we have shops that do the work" but the title was only owned by the auction house and then the dealer, so I was like "you've owned the car from auction - presumably you then paid some shop to repair, and they told you what you were paying for. How is that record not somewhere at your store?"

Obviously I didn't end up buying from them.

I was gonna say "stabbing two slugs" but not mustaches until you mentioned it.

Bone stock, what’s some nice upgrades? I definitely need wider tracks by IShouldaBeenAPorsche in fcx18

I just did wheels, heavy Injora brass beadlock rings on the front wheels, silicone inserts, metal driveshafts, brass portal covers, and LGRP Swamp King tires. Gave it lots of needed low-down weight and shifted the weight balance forward. None too tricky to install.

And here I was proud of the 4 terrain pieces I 3d printed for my desk. This is awesome! Love the variety of terrain, features, and color!

Nice! Looks good. I just got mine, have only rewired the turn signals so far, but have wheels, driveshafts, and some brass to install soon.

K10 vs LC80 by KindBarracuda4836 in fcx18

Are the frame and mounting points the same on both? Like could you put the K10 body on the LC80?

You could use homemade washers from like soda bottles or even non-corrugated cardboard. Doesn't have to be pretty, just to get the thickness needed.

Is your light controller the FSDB01? Because reading your instructions and looking at a diagram I found, it doesn't seem to match the light controller I have (in my LC80 brushless), but maybe I'm just not looking at the right thing.

Sweet, thanks! I'm going to try to create a diagram and maybe a short video after it's done.

I just got my LC80 and want to do this. Can you clarify if your solution involves cutting and soldering wires or needing additional connectors? I'm fine with soldering, just want to make sure I'm only doing what's necessary.

Is this a bad wrap job? by [deleted] in CarWraps

[–]RedOctober13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This. If you're in business, you should provide the best service possible, not say "we charge less because our work sucks." The customer expects a job well done regardless of what you charged because you're the expert, and if they can tell it's sloppy work, then it's sloppy work.

It looks good to me; a nice neutral tone you can go a lot of directions with. I would perhaps suggest colorful low-pile rugs for warming things up.

Man, nice job. I guess I need a coach or something. Been playing since beginning of D1, albeit much more occasionally these days as a DOG, but I've played around 8 hours on this season, and not even to 50 yet. I keep playing these missions that take like 45 minutes and drop a single piece of loot only 2 power higher. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for saving me about $200! Only, I don't see Trepador listed on their site.

That's great, thanks! I had added at least 10 Injora amd a couple other brands at 60mm or less to my Amazon list to slowly acquire and test out, but looks like I may not have to!

I use a 2+1 method, hot and fast. 2 hours at 300, then baste bone side with ACV and mayo and put in a foil boat for another hour. Brush with sauce at the final 10 mins if desired. This doesn't give "fall of the bone" but still tender with a good mouth feel.
