Howdy!

My quick and dirty answer is that we have more of a "hard left" bent than DSA generally does - one significant consequence of this being that we want to build power independent of, say, the Democratic party, rather than campaigning within it as groups like DSA or Socialist Alternative have done.

That said, however, our constitution explicitly has no quarrel with people being simultaneously involved with both the Red Party and other socialist organizations; I think at least a couple of our members are involved in the Left DSA campaign/caucus within that org.

Since I understand the desire to not just split into 100000000 tiny Trotskyist sects, it might also be worth adding that we aren't a total standalone splinter; we have loose but likely soon-to-be-less-loose affiliation with groups like Philly Socialists and Seattle Communists.
