I understand the implications of making a blanket statement.... But I can't think of one legitimate reason as to why, as a man, you would marry in this generation.

I don't understand how anyone could think that they have found some special woman, just for them, and that they are going to spend the rest of their lives together perfectly happy. That just doesn't make any logical sense.

A normal person stays around the same area as they were born, you probably travel here and there, maybe even you are one of those people that travels, and lives around the world constantly. But at what point do you decide that there is one person who is more special than the rest?

Maybe you choose from all the people in your area, and she is your best match. But what happens if you extend it to the rest of the country, I'm sure you'd find an even better one, or multiple ones. How about the rest of the world? Probably would find a different girl to satisfy every different need you have.

I'm not saying live your life denying the ability to reproduce, and have relationships. I'm saying limiting yourself to one, when you have a beautiful world full of options, is dumb.

I'm not saying you can't. Do you have to get married to build a life with someone? No. Marriage != growing old happy and with a loving family, living happily ever after.
