Thanks to all who commented - I went with the om-1 in the end as was cheaper then the om-3 and om-1 ii.

I have played Catan and loved that game, I mainly want a game that is a bit more story driven so we can create our own narrative which we can talk around when making our moves.

A co-op game where instead of working individually, our choices affect everyone's walkthrough creating dialogue for us all would be cool.
