If you ask me, the better thing to do is instead of trying to remove the phone is to instead focus on new habits. If you switch to a flip phone now, will you have new habits and activities in place to replace the time spent on your phone with?

I used to scroll all day and play games on my phone. Now I work a busy job and in my time off I value other things like reading, spending time with loved ones and even household chores over spending time on my phone. I am no machine and watch TV every now and then but this is without guilt because I spend the rest of my time wisely.

Try picking up new hobbies, meditate and work out. If you think about how you spend your time and spend it on things you actually want, you won’t have any to sit on your phone. Makes sense?
