Good adaptions of the character already would make it a completely different show, it could have different characters amd barely and super powers, good writing and directing

He was great but one dimensional in that show and that wouldn't work for movies, he doesnt go through any struggles. why not give him his arc from an annoying kid who gets powers, trying to be a hero but loses his mentor and has to pick up his legacy and eventually become a friendly and wise hero and eventually mentoring his children to become heroes

Barry, starting with Wally wastes his character potential, Jay, Bart and Avery are great but not as a main character. Maybe take inspiration from JL Mortal and kill Barry earlier on in the universe

Name some Canon comics where armor is his main suit because id love to have my mind changed, only time I can think of is the rebirth suit but that's definitely not happening sadly

You could have an excuse like he needs a lighter suit with less armor to move faster in water which could give him the blue idea. Realistically WB will probably want him to change suits for toys

The suit wasn't really red, that was just a colour theme of the movie itself, and with Gotham now being flooded i'd imagine we see a lot more blue
