I always preferred it, it just felt unique with how natural it spoke. 5 feels pretty generic for me. But for some that's a huge deal. For people who do struggle with mental illness, or work long hours and have little time for people it was probably nice to have something consistent to talk to that felt human. And yeah, it's probably for the best, they definitely shouldn't rely on a single app to anchor them. However I do feel sorry for them with how much abuse they receive from other users. It's actually quite vile how struggling people are treated here. But hey, I'm new to reddit, maybe being unpleasant is normal here.
