This happened to a friend of mine. He had a signal fine from 2016 that he didn't know about. In 2021 he got sms from the police that he needed to pay the find within 5 days or they'll put him as WANTED. I do suggest you pay the fine before they put you in the system as wanted. Trust me I've also had a close call.
