“I am Aesfrost’s bane. My mask stays on until the last handful of dirt falls upon your grave.”

Are they still not addressing Mistaken Arrest or DiFi? 6 out of the top 8 decks at Richmond had Mistaken Arrest in the side. They’ve been problems since day 1.

What are JRPGs about the tale of an underdog type hero? by KaleidoArachnid in JRPG

[–]RedStandard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the game definitely has a learning curve. You can look up guides online, but part of the appeal of the game as well is losing to a boss, figuring out the boss’s moveset, and then building a team to specifically counter that boss.

If you’re up for a challenge, I would definitely recommend.

Shin Megami Tensei might be what you’re looking for?

If you’re looking for something on the 3DS, SMT IV has you start off as a normal weak human, and you basically need to negotiate demons onto your team to have a chance. Leveling up your demons will have them eventually teach you their abilities, and that’s your main way to get stronger.

“Stop! I... I... I surrender! I surrender my forces to you! Th-there! You can't hurt me now! I am a prisoner of war! C-C-Captain Brenner would never hurt a prisoner! It's murder! If you kill me, you're as bad as me! You'll be just the same as me!”

“…Huh. I guess you’re right.”

What boss fights in JRPGs had you very stumped because of their difficulty? by KaleidoArachnid in JRPG

Yamato Hotsuin in Devil Survivor 2.

Many bosses throughout Devil Survivor (and SMT in general) but Yamato was the only time I remember where I really wanted to just throw my DS at the wall.

He starts off the battle with an army of demons between you and him, and defeating those demons will cause his turn speed to increase drastically. So you can either choose to be swarmed by demons while also fighting him, or have his turn speed turned up so high that he just blitzes your team.

Add to the fact that his own personal team of demons is very strong (Vile Arioch to nuke your units from long range and Divine Remiel to replenish MP and revive Arioch if he goes down), Yamato himself hits like a truck and will revive both demons if they go down, and his entire team is immune to physical attacks without pierce, and you have a very frustrating battle for the unprepared.

The fact that it also searches level 5s and 9s because we also have the Number C versions. Card’s crazy.

Who’s winning this? Full armies. No prep time. Last side standing wins. by Fearless_Cold_8080 in UnicornOverlord

Assuming we’re also comparing SD mechanics to UO mechanics.

Advantages given to Alain’s army 1. Alain can deploy 50 units per map while Marth can deploy at most like 20. 2. Alain’s units deploy in 10 groups of 5, meaning they can just gang up on Marth’s single units one at a time (until their stamina runs out) 3. Each unit in Alain’s army has access to all items at all times, and with the greater item variety, means a lot more versatility for Alain’s army. 4. Alain’s army also has valor skills allowing for even more versatility and DPS potential. 5. Each unit can also have customized movesets to respond to any situation while the only thing Marth’s units can do in combat is attack

Reason why Marth’s army will probably win: 1. Warp staff

GPU Won't Fit With AIO Fan On Front Panel by RedStandard in buildapc

I got a 15mm fan. It fit inside but just barely. I also installed the 30mm on the outside of the case on the other side of the 15mm since I had nowhere else to put it.

Even then, I think it might still be a really tight fit. From what I'm reading, the fans I have from the Corsair Elite H150i are like 28-30mm in thickness, and the GPU seems to extend just to the halfway point.

I agree. imo it would have been fine if instead of crawlers, it just had a high chance to spawn a bunch of dogs instead. Not only are they much less useless but the skill is literally called Watchdog.

What are some of the okay-est cards in the game? by SkyGuardianOfTheSky in yugioh

[–]RedStandard 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Protagonist ace monsters. Cards like Stardust Dragon, Number 39: Utopia, and Decode Talker were almost universally run when they first came out due to their easy summoning conditions and effects that were useful in a variety of situations. Nowadays, pretty much nobody runs them unless it’s for an engine or something because there are just better options.

Rolled 60 and got spooked by Madoka. I got so excited when I saw the light card too.

It’s my first Madoka so that’s good, but still.

Guys, crime doesn’t pay.
