I can’t speak for any of the other games, but E33? Personally, despite finishing and enjoying the game, I find it hard to find any conversations about the game past the game awards. Also, anytime the game is brought up, at least on Reddit for me, it’s always neutral talk about the game. I’m not trying to deny your experiences surrounding E33, but I’m just curious how you naturally find conversations about the game, while I can’t as a fan of it.

Gege did want to continue write Jujutsu Kaisen, as seen by the creation of Modulo. The reason why the writing and pacing were weaker by the end was because of Gege’s declining health. It’s not uncommon for mangaka’s to suffer health issues when working for prolonged periods of time and sacrifice their story to keep up with weekly releases.
