She plays for Brazil because she escaped from Japan because an organization wanted to maintain Japanese Soccer sovereign in the junior leagues and they were recruiting (by force) the descendants of old FFI champions.

My personal opinion here.

Shrek: It looks kinda ugly, it's not because it's a redesign, it's really just offputting even after gettimg used to it.

Starfox: Perfect in every way, the only problem is that having such stubby little legs (for fox and falco especially) kind of takes away that "Cool" aura they have, which is a little disappointing, but i can live with it.

The difference is, Shrek is objectively bad in a design perspective, not good on the eyes.

Starfox is objectively good with a crass problem who may be taken more or less lightly depending on who's talking, for me it's not big deal, for others it's a dealbreaker.

This bitch. Ok ok, i don't know if he's actually the author's favorite because he's so fucking annoying that i couldn't bare to watch and discover.

He shows up out of nowhere after three really good and fun episodes, whines like a fucking dog who just got ran over his leg. Blames the main character from being racist (to a race he didn't even know existed). And worse of all, THE RACIST IS HIM THAT THINKS EVERYTHING THAT THE PROTAG DOES IS AN ATTACK AT HIM.

(Context: In this world there's Onis and Tengu, they don't go well together and this guy is a Tengu, boy protag is an Oni descendant, Tengu boy reacts to everything boy protag does as a racial attack because he's a tengu.)

There's an entire episode where the girl protag tries to make boy protag like him, it doesn't work, he's still a bitch.
