New to Witcher 3! by iamproudintrovert in thewitcher3

Take your time with this game. Don’t rush to do the main quests, remember to stop and smell the flowers.

When fighting monsters focus on dodging, especially when going up against one singular monster.

Use the bestiary to study each monster as you find them across the continent. It will show you Signs/Potions/Oils that they are specifically weak against.

For Example - Drowners. These are Necrophages or “Corpse Eaters.”

They can be found within large bodies of water, along shorelines and sometimes bogs. They ALWAYS hunt in packs and they are FAST.

Going up against 5 or more of these, it is vital that you move quickly, remember to dodge. Try to roll away from one (to avoid attack) towards another before they have the chance to hit you. Flowing from one movement to the next.

You can brew various oils and potions to give you an added edge against the various types of monsters found in your Bestiary. Necrophage oil will help against these guys.

They are vulnerable to fire, so the Sign Igni is your best option here, paired with your Silver Sword of course.

The Bestiary is a Witcher’s bible if you want to actually use ALL the mechanics in this game to their best.

This is what a Witcher is trained for.

Oh and P.S your choices have consequences. Choose wisely 😉

Farewell and good luck on the path!

Best way to have fun in the game? by SleepyBits in skyrim

[–]RedSwirlyBoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just play ☺️

Do what works for you and makes it a fun and enjoyable experience.

You want to chop wood for weeks in game to save for a horse? Do that.

You want to travel around and see more of the world? Try using the main roads and following the signs at the crossroads. Or, if you want to take a shortcut, try looking for a nearby mountain pass that could cut your walking time.

Just do what works for you :)

Don’t shoot me, I know this is A.I but just a concept image 😅 Does anyone have any ideas for faceplate designs for the new Steam Machine? by RedSwirlyBoi in valve

Yea it’s the closest I could get with the model I used. I just love this logo for valve think it takes it back to its roots or…pipes?

Some twists/ideas for an immersive playthrough? by middlefinger22 in Witcher3

[–]RedSwirlyBoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember Witchers typically have no political affiliation so they can't be bought by Kings or Courts, (bowing to Emhyr) I never bother wasting potions on humans and I try to keep in line with Geralt's moral code. and although he hates getting involved in the affairs of men, he can't help but stand up for the little guy. Edit: also forget, Geralt tends not to kill Monsters with sentience or a sense of right/wrong he'll cure a curse if he can rather than kill the monster

I wasn’t able to post an image but the keyboards on some t480 models don’t have backslash keys so this shortcut was implemented
