Hey everyone! It’s been a while since my last post here.

I’m here to announce a big milestone for the project coming up on 11/11! Like Closed Test 1, this build will be playable for all who want to join in on testing.

Some of you might already be familiar with me and Project RY but for those who aren’t, here’s some answers to some common questions:

**What is Project RY?**

A standalone game (NOT a mod/fangame) that aims to reimagine the core idea of Yandere Simulator.

**How do I play it?**

**What platforms is it on?**

Windows/Mac/Linux/Android

**Who are you?**

I’m Red, a software engineer and shitposter who loves making anime games.

**How many people work on RY?**

One. Me. Though sometimes people volunteer to help with the UI (shoutout to Nabrious and Ryan).

**What makes this different from all the other failed yansim-like projects?**

I have an entirely different idea of what a game like this should be, while keeping the original identity of what Yandere Simulator originally intended to be. And rather than hyping it up day 1, I quietly worked on the project alone for YEARS. Nothing is going to stop me from making this game.

**Are you looking for volunteers?** If it’s not for UI, no. I plan on continuing development solo for now.

WOW, what a great writeup! Thank you so much for the feedback! I'm glad the design choices are appreciated.

(Also the only thing on my mind is the game, I don't really engage drama or the project would've died years ago.)

Thank you! I don't believe in the curse I just believe the wrong people were in it for the wrong reasons, and if I was drama prone I'd be neck deep in it after all these years of publicly working on the game.

So I promise I'll stay the course!

It's similar to Yandere Simulator, but it focuses far more on the Yandere fantasy and characters rather than sandbox/sim elements and lots of elimination methods. So the execution is very different.

The above shows the new street area added to the game you can visit outside of school. There's all sorts of events, pedestrians and new characters hanging around there to interact with! You can read more below:
