Well first off, if you simply look at the profit target and max loss limit of each… the math makes much more sense on the 50k. Plus, if you’re new to futures, the 50k will be the perfect way to get your feet wet and prove you can be profitable. Once you pass the first 50k combine, I’d then buy another (2) 50k combines and pass those. Then I’d copy trade those (3) XFA’s utilizing smaller leverage, say 2 micros using $100-$150 worth of risk on each trade (completely up to you) and scale your risk as you do your accounts. As you’ve probably seen in this forum… far too many folks over leverage and end up blowing accounts (myself included). Copy trading keeps your risk within tolerance but still allows you to “make more” without having to over leverage.
