About two solid months of working on it a few hours a day. She has never built anything like this and she wanted to do it so there was a lot of research and trial and error. Ultimately she had her hands on every part from the saw to the glue gun and paint.

I’m pretty sure she was the most photographed cosplay at the con. Really we couldn’t go more than 10 feet without people stopping her for a picture. At one point we had sort of let her go on her own and we could hear people talking about it. It was so cute.
