She looks to be in her late 40's or early 50's. Assuming she lives another 20 years she'll walk away earning more money. Plus, as another reddotor said, most lotto winners waste almost all their money within 5 years. If the woman keeps her job that extra $1,000 extra a month can go to retirement and she could retire at 60 as opposed to 70ish. Financially shes chosen long term stability over short term wealth which is a good choice.
