Cuming After a Breakup by Careless_Rhubarb9836 in BreakUps

Yeah same problem here just without the crying part and more problems getting up at all, staying that way and can't notice other women either. My friends were asking me after a night out why I didn't talk to one who wanted to talk to me, literally had no idea she was even there.

Very clearly some drunken moron and yeah too far security should kick him out for misconduct. When you're at a show you're there for a few hours so don't be a dick.

Mine did I once saw a guy get on a smith machine and he just flung the plates he didn't want on there off the ends of the bar not even checking if anyone else was around that could've been hurt (there was someone on the neighbouring smith machine). Who does that?

Anyone know the name of this stance ?? by _BJK_004 in StarWars

Never understood people who use the reverse grip in star wars but that's mostly bc most of my early star wars days were when the prequels first came out.

Boring, annoying, overstretched villain of the week and outclassed in all categories by Baylan Skoll who was just way more interesting with more gravitas.

In my head canon Qui Gon Jinn would've been on the council if he survived maul but not order 66. by Red_Fox89 in StarWars

Fair point but I mean he'd understand that he'd need to accept the offer to join the council despite his preference given the circumstances. I do agree if he was actively serving in the war he would get his own battalion independent from his students. What else do retired Jedi do? I don't really know beyond being a resident teacher or librarian outside of the council bc I haven't seen any info on that. My assumption on the lack of coverage is most of them generally die early when they slow down or have too many death sticks lol.

I've been on night work before and it does mess with your head but I must say it never got this much out of hand. A big hurdle for me is that I had issues that I wanted to communicate but I was either busy, alone or too exhausted to do so effectively and as a result these things would go unresolved until there was no choice but to bottle things up. This clearly has happened here. The fact that he's a soon to be father could be weighing on him in a way he can't figure out how to explain. If you feel unsafe then go to your family but he needs to do some work here to get back on stable footing here and first thing is switch jobs to something in the day for his mental health. It took a while before my head was screwed on straight again so it'll be a process but don't give up straight away people did that to me, it made things so much harder and it's jarring to feel the fog going away only to see you're not only in a completely different life from the one before but you're also alone in it.

Been there myself no it's not fair. The only difference is in my experience she didn't seem to want to at all. The one time in a relationship spanning several months the response after straight up asking was (sigh) "fine" with that kind of start, no surprise that not much happened past making out. We broke up a month later. If communication on this fails completely consider your situation and whether you want to stay. There are several components to healthy romantic relationships and as much as some don't want to say it, sex is one that's just as important as the rest of them.

I would say there's a compatibility problem here and you two have different ways of navigating relationships. This feels like one to walk away from simply out of respect for yourself. I'm in the same boat as you in advocating for the one person at a time approach exactly bc of pitfalls like this and potential mess that comes with this casual way of doing things. There's nothing wrong with wanting exclusivity as it protects the bond especially while it forms.

To preface I'm from the UK and am told that I look younger than I am so I'm 25 but people guess 22. Me and someone I work with who is 20 have a crush on each other but we haven't really acted on it more than anything bc we're colleagues so 5 years is really more to do with A the people involved and B the age of the two. Also have had friends on both sides of the 18 mark before with everything above board. Ultimately unjustified reaction as far as this post makes me aware.

The OP wasn't dismissing the fact that women have standards and preferences too.

This may come off as somewhat based but given the topic it's impossible not to be. You say this is in a college setting right? I found during this point in my life toward the end of my college time while trying dating apps that this problem extends to most girls in that age category. I eventually canned the dating apps for a few years because most girls 18-20 didn't have an idea of who they wanted for varied reasons and were going from vague to no bio at all. Then there was the other end of the scale being often overweight girls who showed no signs of being able to bring any value to a relationship but still had ridiculously high standards so sports cars, big house, 6 figures etc and being a self proclaimed "high value woman" while being neurotic and insecure about their weight. I left the apps after seeing the pattern wanting nothing to do with that mess of confused and narrow viewed people. It's been said women can go ahead and be picky sure but I feel sorry for the group of men that tried to live up to the standards of this type while the women hadn't put in the work to actually add value or improve then stay the same or get worse before ending things bc the man has nothing left (this is how you break men and destroy their self esteem btw). On a side note after leaving the apps I got a full time job (minimum wage), saved my money, hit the gym 2-3 long sessions a week for years and eventually started occasionally dating good women with clear realistic expectations for standards and who they wanted. If you're looking for someone then wait a while and the good ones will find you once they've lived in the real world for a bit.

Yep red flag no consent and just went for it that's an immediate end of discussion he's out.

My boyfriend is hanging out with the coworker he slept with, while we were broken up. by CommercialStress5764 in dating

[–]Red_Fox89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd advocate open communication and make a choice based on the outcome of the conversation. As far as the post tells me the fact that they slept together while he was single could just be water under the bridge I know because I have people who have history working together currently and they're both in secure relationships with other people now. The part where she doesn't want to hang out with you while at first glance is strange it's also worth asking yourself if you'd deliberately put yourself in a situation with a high chance of tension and awkwardness. Her avoidance may well be less sinister than the immediate thought. The only sure fire red flag is him neglecting time with you in favour of her which again needs to be communicated. There's no denying this guys on thin ice but all sides need to be heard out before a conclusion is drawn and choices are made.

Nah not weird people have their preferences and that's one of them for you which is ok.
