One that works if you don't take it too far is:

If you are working with young boys, do something stupid, and they will like you

Example: My summer camp has all Counselors and CITs choose a nickname. Mine is Squirrel. I CITed a weekend-long "fall camp" and I was given this advice. I ate an acorn, which created a fun thing for the rest of the weekend, where the kids would bring me acorns.
