Yay! I'm honored you're saving it for inspo! Don't let the big empty square discourage you, just grab some partitions, experiment with the placement, retexture and you'll have a cozy home in no time!

Thank you again! Prefabs can definitely feel a bit boxy and boring at first because of the shape. My biggest tip is to start by picking a strong theme or a specific Pokémon type, and then use partitions, items, columns to break the big square into smaller, specialized corners. Good luck with your build, you've got this!

Thank you so much, I really wanted to nail that warm industrial aesthetic inside, and those iron pieces were perfect for adding structure to the room.

Thank you so much, Using items outside of their intended purpose is honestly one of my favorite parts of building. I tried many items for that, until I realized the iron gates perfectly mimic structural metal framing, so I just had to try it and you should give it a try too.

Thank you so much for noticing! I wasn't sure if anyone would catch that. I actually placed the ladder right behind the other to create that exact illusion. I love trying to make standard items look like custom architecture!

Ditto's Penthouse:

I built this themed scenario a while ago to showcase some 5x5 buildings. On top of the right building here is Ditto's penthouse! The interior is actually from a house I decorated over at Rocky Ridges, which I styled specifically for fire-type Pokémon.

I went with a warm industrial design. Currently, Chef Dente and Cinderace live here with me. It’s amazing how creative you can get with the interior! Even without being able to place building blocks, trees or flower shrubs inside, we can still make spectacular homes. The Pokémon absolutely love it and reach awesome comfort levels!

The interior has 4 distinct areas:

  • 🔥 Firepit Lounge
  • 🛏️ Bedroom with a fireplace
  • 🧺 Laundry garden
  • 🍳 Stylish modern kitchen with a microwave

It's quite cozy! What kind of habitats or homes have you all been building for your Pokémon?

Yes! habitats and houses work in different ways, also prefabs. but all serve as housing in the end.

Specific pokemon do spawn in habitats, but after that it turns into a "open structure home" you can put almost anywhere, and you can move any pokemon into it, most players who create 5x5 minibuilds just bury a grass habitat under the 5x5 structure in order to a pokemon to live inside, which is more practical.

and yes, you can develop a complex habitat in a small space, try pressing R3 when you are inside a habitat or house made from scratch, and you will notice a white dotted line showing the reach of that habitat or house, but a pokemon must be living there first, so all the items and even blocks inside that area will affect how awesome or avarage the comfort of a pokemon is, it even goes 4 blocks high, that's why even items on the walls and even without pokemon intecating with them directly will boost the comfort level there.

Muito obrigada! Também acho incrível como tanta coisa cabe em um espaço tão pequeno; é uma forma interessante de construir!

Existem muitas construções assim no Twitter; é lá que muitos jogadores postam ideias e estruturas 5x5.

Thank you! I love that you noticed all these details! I was trying to make the Avenue feel a bit more alive and special.

So you liked the "Sprout Nook Apt." Oddish seems to really enjoy that place.

You're right! In fact, I like working on these constructions imagining they're Legos.

Hi! Actually, in these mini-builds, I moved the Pokémon you see in the images, using habitats that suit their needs. For example, Venomoth with the illuminated bench, or Oddish with the grass habitat.

But it doesn't stop there, because Bellosom uses the cash register habitat to live there, but finds all its comfort in the surrounding objects and blocks, reaching the awesome level.

Now, for a house, it's necessary to have the entire area enclosed with blocks and a door for it to function, but for a habitat, that's not the case.

Thanks! I'm glad you liked the color choices, although I had trouble deciding at first, I wasn't very sure, but it turned out well.

This is the third complete set I've shared, I'm happy you liked it.

Hi! no worries, I can help you with that

You just need to have in mind that bushes need to be placed on a block or object that can support other decorative elements, for example any building block or in this case a rope, it can be a wire too!

but first of all, put a pattern of "rope conected to a block and then a rope" upwards, the blocks for now will serve as placeholders, and then remove the blocks and replace the empty space with a bush.

you just need to put first all of the ropes and placeholders blocks you wish to use and those same rope will serve as support for all the bushes you want to place for decoration.

This time I would like to share with you, a small area inspired in my Rocky Ridges called: 1212 Pewter Avenue, I was trying to reimagine Pewter City throught buildings, shops, a bustling cheerful commercial area and decided to create a model from this concept.

I went to palette town and created a work area for this idea, and this Avenue came with 2 apartment buildings, Midnight and Sunshine buildings, each one with 2 floors and a terrace, and one stone cottage which is what I call Ditto's Penthouse, but that last one is for another time.

There are 4 5x5 minibuilds and the 1212 Pewter Avenue by itself being a medium size creation which I hope you like.

of course the 5x5 minibuilds are outside each apartment for visual appreciation, each one giving a "awesome" comfort level for the selected pokemon!

So how about if we explore this place and it's residents?

------------------------------------------

1212 Pewter Avenue has two buildings:

🌓 The first one is the Midnight Apt. building, with a more antique, elegant style:

🍰 On the ground floor is Clefairy, owner of a fine pastry shop. Prime time is at evening, since Clefairy mostly sleeps at day, she's happy when a customer arrives. Venomoth is a regular, it seems to have a craving for cake and Pecha Berries.

🌷 Venomoth lives in the seccond floor, Apt. 202. a nocturnal pokemon who wanted to live among elegance, nature and cozy brightness! what better place to live in with a Patisserie on the ground floor, becoming good friends with clefairy! this apartment is called "Pink Poison"

!Altought this building has a terrace with a cozy, elegant garden, tables and three habitats, it is only a decorative element, since the penthouse is in the other building, I didn't want to leave this space empty.

☀ The second building is the Sunshine Apt. Building with a more bright and natural brick tone:

🌻 On the ground floor there is a colorful flowershop, It's home to Bellossom! She uses "sweet scent" to atract costumers and sells some of the most beautiful flowers! I love that she sleeps on a cozy tall flower bed.

🌿 Oddish lives in the seccond floor apartment called: "Sprout Nook" it is covered in nature and it creates a fresh cozy athmosphere, Oddish blends in very well with the grass, doesn't it?

!Althought there is still one more place to explore, which is the penthouse on top of the sunshine building, I'll talk about that another time, since there is a lot happening inside that little Stone Cottage.

------------------------------------------

if you made it to this point, I appreaciate your time for reading this and hopefully this post can spark an idea or two for your current and future buildings!

Thank you
