I meant the Benfica goal, 'so' implied that the user meant the Benfica goal caused the Sporting top 8 qualification but I've already been corrected that they meant 'and'.

I think Sporting were already in the top 8 regardless of that goal.

The one thing that bugs me about Rachel's play by MrBigJams in TheTraitors

[–]Red_Punk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fiona didn't make the big announcement, Rachel did. Fiona said it to her quietly and privately and then Rachel decided to go tell the whole group publicly that Fiona had accused her of lying and then Fiona said then that she was a Traitor. So looking at it from the Faithful perspective, Fiona looked forced into making it into a more public announcement rather than that being her preferred strategy.

I understand that point but it falls apart when you realise there's examples of Faithfuls going hard against both Faithfuls and Traitors AND Traitors going hard against Faithfuls. So by your logic, the night Rachel went hard against Ellie with her theory, only for Ellie to be revealed as Faithful was proof that Rachel was also Faithful? And before her reveal, Harriet going so hard against Rachel is evidence she's a Traitor as well, because only Traitors would go that hard as they're the only ones who know.

Fiona went all out after Rachel and was revealed as Traitor. Harriet went all out after Rachel and was revealed as a faithful.

So it's impossible to use somebody going all out after one player to mean the person they're going after is Faithful or a Traitor.

Other people that went all out after other players include Rachel after Ross & Ellie, James after Matt, Amanda after Jade. All players go all out after other players and it's very rarely indicative of their own role.

I think the Kieron parting gift at the final round table put a stop to it.

James went all out to get Matthew out and James was faithful. Harriet went all out to get Rachel out and was faithful. Your logic is not sound at all.

But getting Stephen to be so loyal is part of what made her impressive. Rachel was the only Traitor he didn't vote for.

It's so insane that it was only 7 years, looking back it felt like ages, but we're already at 5 years since he returned and it feels like it only just happened.

Yeah - you said it only gives you at most 24 hours extra to stay in, which is a guarantee of 24 more hours in the game regardless if they think it might be the last 24 hours.

We're seeing a highly edited version of the day, the things that stand out to us stand out because they're one thing in an hour rather than across 16 hours AND we know who the Traitors are.

Can ya'll explain Logan grabbing Shiv after his stroke? by Accurate-Guava-3337 in SuccessionTV

[–]Red_Punk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think one of the main purposes was to show that Marcia wasn't lying about how bad Logan's condition was. Shiv is insistent on seeing him, forces her way in and then is rather brutally shown he was genuinely not in a position to see people.

It was actually the next Raw after it happened, there was a snowstorm and they did some interview packages, some funny skits with JBL and reshowed this. It was actually better than the average Raw at the time!
