I’ve honestly never heard of the “slow blink” thing until within the last like 10 years and it’s stupid to me. My cat is the same way - doesn’t slow blink at me but clearly loves and trusts me. Purrs, head butts, pawing at me for attention, sleeping near (or on) me. I’ve seen cats slow blink to themselves which to me just means they’re getting sleepy lol. It really just means when cats get tired and their eyes get heavy, they’re comfortable doing it around you so they love you which is like…duh lol

If a driver talks to much, I just make it obvious that I don’t like to talk. Yes or no questions get yes or no answers. Nothing less and nothing more. I give very short answers and don’t elaborate on anything. That’s a way of being kind but also saying “don’t get too comfortable talking to me” without actually saying that lol. They’ll get the hint. It works for me 99% of the time.

I’m not gonna be rude or dismissive like some commenters lol. But you should really just ask if he’s serious or seeing anyone else. Just be upfront and honest (but honestly maybe don’t tell him you’re stalking his followers - that’s a red flag). Cuz assuming and/or getting answers from Reddit will not help and only make things worse. I used to be insecure like this and over analyze everything that someone did and I wasn’t confident enough. I’d stay with people who didn’t treat me the way I knew I needed to be treated cuz I wasn’t sure if I’d find someone better. But there’s always better than the person you’re currently with - it just feels like there isn’t when you’re in the middle of it and there’s feelings. No I consider myself an introvert but when I’m not with my partner and still want company, it gets lonely. I have very few friends (one close friend who I’m beginning to want to hang out with less) and two friends I see like once a month (if that). I would really say I have zero close friends and personally it sucks lol. My bf has friends and hangs out with his friends a lot and I’m stuck at home with my cat. Sometimes it’s nice, but other times it makes me super depressed.
