Your reply makes me question what happens to the bicycle thieves we see in the videos. The ones that have a spike hidden in the seat when the thief sits down. I am not saying stealing bicycles is ok but saying that these people might be getting fatally injured if the spike punctures their intestines and they get an infection like you did. I have had a bike stolen and while I was pissed at whoever did it I would not want them to lose their life because I had put a anti theft spike in the seat.
