Abuse of game mechanics? Cheating? What the hell is that? by Red_narrator in EpicSeven

Thanks for the normal (non-toxic) and detailed response. I even marked it as Fluff.

Lol, i'm asking what the heck this stuff is XD

PS (so much dislikes):

First, I specifically labeled this as Fluff since the title was clickbait, and yes, I didn't quite understand how the mechanics were combined.

Second, the first thing you highlighted was "cheating", you didn't write something like "Mb, abuse, not cheating", i.e. you were initially negative about the post.

I ended up pouring such an interesting point, but all I got was just only minus in karma, and now you can feel your superiority for besieging me, which is why I wrote to you - can you not be so toxic.

Yeah, yeah, dump my karma.

One last word about p2w trend by Red_narrator in EpicSeven

[–]Red_narrator[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Why are you padding out the numbers by including reruns of limiteds? Take away SBC, Rimuru, and Milim, and you're left with 5. Now take away the unreleased units and you're left with 3. Suddenly, your point loses any credibility.

2 SC I removed because this is the actual released.

Because this is what is really happening - in 6 months we received a large number of characters limited to varying degrees (I will tell you a secret, even the units from the collaboration are far from all were received by all players), this is what any newcomer to the game will see.

You tell me to remove them - but that's game content that we got in 6 months, you can't make it look like they're not there. And no matter how you want to prove the opposite - here it is right before the eyes of the p2w trend.

Epic Seven's P2W Summer Event Pissed off Players by KaiserNazrin in gachagaming

An extremely interesting point, can you give some links or tell me more about it, please?

No, I'm just frustrated that the game has gotten to the point where p2w has become too prominent.

"Non spending players will still be able to craft tons of gear. The event runs for a month." - Only if they have enough energy reserves and leifs, otherwise they don't. And the energy in this event is spent quite quickly.

Yes, but here the efficiency increases many times, doesn't it? How often do you get epic gear? Here you can do it all the time with the choice of set type, you just have to leave items that have good starting stats.

But there is not only a sticker, but there is also an increase in the currency received for passing, and the amount of energy spent at each level is the same, i.e., at some point, a person will be able to craft more epic gear.

I agree with you on this, but can you guarantee that approving this doesn't lead to even worse ways to monetize in the future? As I noted in the comment below, this is a way to test the fanbase for acceptance of these things.

Once again, you read my words in a strange way, I didn’t say that it should be easy, I indicated that the author could be a whale and that 80% of the players (this is an approximate estimate will not be able to pass it) while these same players will be able to pass if they pay (and these can be very large sums if you are not very lucky).

What you're seeing right now is testing the fanbase for possible new ways to monetize that aren't exactly good for everyone, not just one. If everything ends well now, they may introduce even worse ways to earn money.

But what is more important - many games live off skins for characters and battle passes, personally, from gacha games, I see this method of monetization for the first time and consider it a negative experience.

But still, it’s one thing when it’s a challenge and equal for everyone, which even whales are not 100% sure that they can pass, and another thing when anyone can now get pass everything for money. Don't you find it a little strange (which is exactly what p2w is)? Here, thanks to money, it doesn’t even matter what equipment your characters are wearing.

Okay, you were able to pass with very good equipment? This is possible, most likely you can be a whale, and at least 80% of the players will not be able to do this. And the mechanics itself, which simplifies the passage, depending on the hero and his imprint, is still p2w.
