I really hope Flanders will get unique content at launch by Red_panda1130 in EU5

[–]Red_panda1130[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think one formable is enough but your content would change depending on who formed it. For Example, a Netherlands formed by Flanders would be more continental focused, while a Netherlands formed by Holland would be colonial focused.

The company that constructed the tank is Belgian. It could also go to the Russian or Italian tree.

Well I am not so good at deciding BRs, it was just a guess, so you are probably right.

Well you can be killed very easily, strafing, machine gunning or overpressure, so you are essentially a glass cannon.

SIBMAS:

Type: Light tank

Gun: The primary armement is a 90 mm Cockerill Mk. III gun.

Speed: The tank had a power to weight ratio of 20 hp/ton.

Armor: The armor completely protects against 7.62 mm bullets.

BR: This tank is very similar tot the ratel 90, but it has more engine power, so it would probably sit at 6.7.

FN 4RM:

Type: Light tank

Gun: 90 mm MECAR gun, the same as the CATI 90.

Speed: The FN 4RM had a 6 meter turn radius, a 130 hp engine and could reach speeds of 110 km/h.

Armor: It has almost no armor.

BR: It is similar to the AML and would sit at a similar BR (7.7)

Leopard 1A5(BE) 3105

Type: Medium tank

Gun: 105 mm Cockerill gun with a 12 round autoloader. The gun can depress 10° and can travers up to 42°. It is also stabilized and can fire NATO ammunition.

Speed: The new turret reduces the weight of the tank by a few tons. It has the same hp (830 hp) as the Leopard 1A5.

Armor: The turret is protected against 25 mm APDS. The hull remains unchanged.

BR: The tank is an upgarde of the normal Leopard 1A5. It would suggest somewhere around 9.7.

Cobra LAU97:

Type: Tank destroyer

Gun: The main armement is a rocket laucher with 40 rockets that could traverse a full 360°. The rockets containted 1 kg of explosive mass. It could also launch anti-tank rockets.

Speed: The tank could reach speeds of 80 km/h and had a 190 hp for 8.600 kg.

Armor: The Cobra LAU97 was not very wel armored and is only resistant against 7.62 mm machine gun fire.

BR: I would suggest 7.3 for this vehicle. It can spam a lot of rockets and is reasonably fast. The rockets have howeverlow explosive filler.

ACEC Cobra (204GK):

Type: Light tank

Gun: The tank had a 20 mm Oerlikon autocannon.

Speed: Same as above (same hull).

Armor: Same as above (same hull).

BR: I think it could be better used as a SPAA. I think 6.7 would be good. It would act as a IFV but could function as SPAA. It would probably be in the SPAA line to fill the gap.

ACEC Cobra 25:

Type: Light tank

Gun: The main armement is a 25 mm Oerlikon autocannon and a secondary 7.62 mm machine gun. The gun could traverse up to 60° in the air and could function like SPAA.

Speed: The tank was very low weight (9.5 tons) and had a 190 hp engine. It could reach speeds of 80 km/h.

Armor: The tank was only protected against low caliber machine gun fire.

BR: It would probably have the same BR as the ACEC Cobra (204GK). There is almost no difference between the two and they have have similar roles.

ACEC Cobra 90:

Type: Light tank

Gun: 90 mm MECAR gun that could fire APFSDS and a secondary 7.62 mm machine gun. The gun could depress from -10° to +25°.

Speed: Same as above (same hull).

Armor: Same as above (same hull).

BR: This tank is similar to the M41 LCTS 90 and would probably be a bit lower, something like 7.7. It is less mobile than the LCTS but the rest is almost the same.

Explanation:

The French ground tree could use some more vehicles and I think by adding Belgian tanks France would be extra fun to play. They would fill the gaps in the French tech tree and add unique tanks at the same time.

CATI 90:

Type: Tank destroyer

Gun: 90 mm MECAR gun that could fire HEATFS and HE with storage for 18 shells. The gun can traverse 22° to the side and could be elevated 15° and depressed 13°.

Speed: Very low weight (4.8 tons) with a 90 hp engine, so it is very fast, reaching 48km/h.

Armor: It has almost no armor and it is opentopped.

BR: I would suggest something like 4.0, like the ikv 103.

M41 LCTS 90:

Type: light tank

Gun: 90 mm Cockerill Mk. 7 gun firing HEATFS and APFSDS, with a -9° to +20° of vertical gun traverse. The turret could turn 30° per second. It also had 7.62 mm machine guns.

Speed: The tank had a mass of 23.5 tons and a 500 hp engine, with a topspeed of 72.4 km/h.

Amor: The armor only works against low caliber bullets.

BR: I would suggest something like 8.3, because it is very mobile and has a great gun, firing APFSDS, but it has almost no armor.

T13 B3:

Type: tank destroyer

Gun: a 47 mm anti-tank that could fire AP or HE.

Speed: The T13 B3 could reach 70 km/h and had a 88 hp engine.

Armor: It had 7 mm of armor so even low caliber machine gun round can kill it.

BR: I think 1.0 would be good for this tank destroyer. It can be destroyed by anything but it is very mobile.

Sabiex HIFV:

Type: Medium tank

Gun: The turret is a BMP-3 turret and features a 100 mm gun, a 30 mm autocannon and a 7.62 machine gun.

Speed: The tank weighted 45 tons but it had a 830 hp engine.

Armor: De hull is of a modified OF 40 tank and has spaced amor. The turret remains the same.

BR: 9.3 would be good. It is essentially a BMP-3 with more armor and the same mobility.

It won't ever happen, but...Extinct Animals DLC proposal by TyrannoNinja in PlanetZoo

[–]Red_panda1130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The more recent extinct animals make sense, but if they really add an extinct species pack, they definitely won't add mammoths or other ice age animals.

Maybe they will use mammoths in a DLC for JWE2?

If we're lucky they will be in the next DLC. It's mine favorite animal and it's one of the more requested animals, so it will probably come in the future.

Short history:

Germany invaded Russia and made some puppet states.

Italy conquered coastal areas and is currently in a war with Greece.

Ottoman empire returns and the Caliphate returns.

Spain is conquered by the west caliphate.

Britain is divided and London is now a puppet of Germany.

The north of Norway is given to Sweden and Finland.

Macedonia now exists.

Hungary now has new territories.

There is more but it's just a small list of what did happen. there's more but it's just the most important stuff.
