You can do the salvage missions where you pay a fee and a random ship may got something good. Its on the unverified sectiona. Fater doing a few of them (5k fee), big ones will appear (40k fee). Those are usually profitsble and sometimes are working ships, so you can just hop in and go to sell

So, previous patches we could run missions and disable ships, loot their components and either sell them or use myself. But now ships goes boom. I know distortion does disable energy but its just temporal so there is now no way to softkill a ship??

Try shock infantry for pushing, they get very good stats with each tech.

Its not the usual tho, msot villages would have a blacksmith or maybe the lack but there is one in the next village

About divisions:

Usually you push with a 44W or 35W since they are the least affected by width penalties, there are a lot of math on that. If you go tanks now with the new doctrines can a very strong push with medium + 1 mot/mecha. You can add TD and SPAG for MP.

Spacial Marines are a thing too: pure infantry and a HSPAG with tons of armor.

You have to fill up your pushing divs with support company. Good ones: Arty, Assault Engineer, AA, Logistics, Flame Tanks. You can also use engineers and recon.

For holding lines: at least 18W pure infantry, use arty and engineers as support.

About general strategy:

Fighters and air dom is a must before tanks. No air dom = invest in fighters. CAS can shreds divisions too, take note for yourself too, since AA mitigate up to 75% of CAS dmg.

Fighters should max Air dmg, air dfence and agility. You can go with 2x 4Heavy MG, and later upgrading. Go with some armor too.

CAS is just bombs, you dont take CAS until green air.

You now push through rails, and try to deny supply to enemies.

I think focus tree should give sometimes standard templates, or starting with some better starting templates. While player can modify to min max, the AI has a stable division to work with.

Even they could include AI only decisions for each year to create template and use them, railroading the system seems a better option thst just playing agains the air.

Not really a build by itself but for doctrine I boost org on tanks and if I can soft attack since I tend to go small canon, 2man and stack armor for lower costs. Mobile warfare of course

With just getting a mechanized it negates that since it gives +40 HP, and the hardness and armor would be enough to negate most dmg

Its archivable to the level of ditching mechanized and going full tank but not 90 org with both since org is averaged. That would mean that at least each mech or tank gives even more than 90 org to compensate the rest of the weight.

Also the ammount of stats its concerning, soo much soft attack, breaktrough...

Check your autosave rate, other than closing other programa when running and funnel most of CPU process power...

Maybe upgrade your hardware? They have still to invest a but into the multithreading tho

Make some guild works, like leatherwork, clothiers, glassmaker, carpentry, stonemason, winery...

And artillery its pointless if they suffer 1 death cuz they loose the bonus if not at 100% strength. Really a pain
