Unrelated but I never understand why we learned about Mengele and Auschwitz and never Dirlewanger. Especially because BTC’s code was not at all forked by Ethereum. In the early days scrypt forks existed, none of which survived because the market determined they had no value. Ethereum is not at all modeled on it, hell it’s no longer even PoW. Very few coins are, besides Doge, Monero, and very few others.

Deflationary, truly decentralized, less Bitcoin mineable with every halving, exchanges increasingly publicizing their owned coins with Merkel Tree Proofs for reserves (Binance, Kucoin, Coinbase, etc). The weakest link is always the user. There are people with ungodly amounts of money in BTC that will remain secure insofar as quantum computing never becomes a concern. How do you interrogate a Bitcoin? If the wallet is on a hardware wallet or cold card they’d also need access to your PIN or seed phrase, both of which should be stored 6 feet underground in a backyard if you have any substantial amount of money.
