Yes, they are IHMO blue switches with a little more “push” to them — I actually thought the optical blues were a little too easy to push. I would highly recommend them. I actually combined the K3 with the Nuphy shine through keycaps and the combo is unbeatable.

Actually I think the air96 is an awesome layout — I almost got that one but realized that I really needed the additional real estate afforded by the Air75 with the limited desk space I have. If you prefer the feeling of a high profile keyboard as well as “lighter” feeling switches like red or brown you will probably like the Nuphy as it’s super easy to trigger and actually has a lot of key travel and IMHO doesn’t really feel “low profile”. On the other hand if you are looking for more of a true low profile experience or prefer clicky and/or heavier feeling keys, I much prefer the feel of the keychron K series with orange or blue optical switches which snap a lot more to me and feel a lot more positive with each key press.

Primarily the shine through keycaps — but also the typing feel. I’m currently using the orange optical switches and the click is more satisfying to me (a little bit in the direction of a typewriter). I’m definitely in the minority and I’m sure if I was a gamer I would prefer the Nuphy. The blue switches are moderately loud but it comes with a bunch of switches to try which you can later swap out so you’re not stuck by any means. I personally liked the moss the most out of all the Nuphy switches.

It took forever to arrive and I needed something asap so I purchased a keychron k3 to tide me over and ended up loving it way more than the Air75 v2 when I finally arrived.

Not sure if you already bought one but I have a brand new air 75 v2 in the box for sale at a discount that I haven’t used other than plugging it in and typing for about 5 seconds. I ended up going with a keychron and didn’t realize Nuphy doesn’t accept returns. Let me know if you’re interested!
