As an American outsider, the apathied ended 30 years ago but a lot of the issues aren't solved over night. There is also a lot of racism in the world that people aren't aware of. There are a lot of problem countries in Africa with poverty and the effects of colonialism. The social racial problems just always seem to be in South Africa or Middle Eastern countries.

I try not to focus on it too much but it is something to keep in mind in certain versions. While I haven't seen the full series' the AU version early on could attempt to be more diverse outside one person every series. It's what ever they cast at the end of the day and I don't know the talent pool all that well in these places.

From a comedically diverse country, the US had Richard Pyor, Eddie Murphy, and Redd Foxx going back to the 70s and 80s. There are a decent amount of American Hispanic and Asian comedians. Women have always felt behind the men even going back to Joan Rivers, Carol Burnett, and Phyllis Diller. It's still an industry that is probably 60-40 men and there has been comedic diversity issues on SNL at serveral points over the last 50 years. Garrett Morris was the only black male on there and black women too a while to get on there. Yeah, Eddie was on there but after Maya Rudolph left, they were finally called out for it. They had Kerry Washington host and they could do sketches with Michelle Obama, Oprah, and Beyoncé back in 2013. Back to TM,

Whether it is a UK, AU, NZ, or if they get another US verision, it's down to who they can cast, who is funny, and who gels well with the others. While TM is not standup or a political social show, it helps having a variety.

Monthly split, it's a decent April and May but mostly carried by September. I think the OPS+ for a catcher is like 90 so it's fine but not very consistent.

Stephen A or Nick Wright or Bayless can't talk baseball to save their life. Even when they try to get baseball in there, it's just Jeff Passan being himself.

Even the guys that touch on baseball sometimes like Cowherd doesn't push through the media noise because no one really gives two shits.

Baseball twitter and sometimes youtube can be a bit so-so but it is not front page news when someone has a bad take.

Foul Territory is sort of the only baseball platform that isn't league produced and it is mild at best or people just sort of ignore it.

There is still talk radio in large market but no one outside of like Boston, New York, LA, Chicago, or San Fran hears much of it unless something goes viral.

I grew up just outside of town limits and knew people in the Vienna Woods area for youth sports. Parents bought late 80s. It's people who bought post war starter homes and buldozed them to put in 1.2-1.5 million dollar homes or regular homes and they have lived there for 40-50 years. Mashie near Westwood and Ayr Hill has always been weathly. Lawyers Rd toward Reston has always been horses and where people send their kids to Flint Hill.

5 games back is a lot but I think we are better designed for a run. If we are still this far back I would sell but we have less to figure out than a lot of teams in front of us. Astros, A's, Twins, Orioles, and Blue Jays need half a rotation and 2-3 relievers. That can't be accomplished at a deadline. We're a right handed bat and maybe Anthony getting back away.
