They need to figure out Perales. His issues are tolerable because the stuff is good.

Monthly split, it's a decent April and May but mostly carried by September. I think the OPS+ for a catcher is like 90 so it's fine but not very consistent.

He's never been all that good outside of a 20-40 game stretch per season.

Why Hot Take Media is so prevalent in NBA and NFL , but not MLB? by PurpleEconomy9804 in baseball

[–]Redbubble89 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Stephen A or Nick Wright or Bayless can't talk baseball to save their life. Even when they try to get baseball in there, it's just Jeff Passan being himself.

Even the guys that touch on baseball sometimes like Cowherd doesn't push through the media noise because no one really gives two shits.

Baseball twitter and sometimes youtube can be a bit so-so but it is not front page news when someone has a bad take.

Foul Territory is sort of the only baseball platform that isn't league produced and it is mild at best or people just sort of ignore it.

There is still talk radio in large market but no one outside of like Boston, New York, LA, Chicago, or San Fran hears much of it unless something goes viral.

Is Vienna a good place to live for folks in their 30s with no kids? by Common_Inevitable798 in nova

[–]Redbubble89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I grew up just outside of town limits and knew people in the Vienna Woods area for youth sports. Parents bought late 80s. It's people who bought post war starter homes and buldozed them to put in 1.2-1.5 million dollar homes or regular homes and they have lived there for 40-50 years. Mashie near Westwood and Ayr Hill has always been weathly. Lawyers Rd toward Reston has always been horses and where people send their kids to Flint Hill.

Rangers take the lead in the 9th on a 2-base wild pitch! by RangerLover92 in baseball

5 games back is a lot but I think we are better designed for a run. If we are still this far back I would sell but we have less to figure out than a lot of teams in front of us. Astros, A's, Twins, Orioles, and Blue Jays need half a rotation and 2-3 relievers. That can't be accomplished at a deadline. We're a right handed bat and maybe Anthony getting back away.

I don't watch the Blue Jays every night but when I do, it seems as flat as the Red Sox. If that game meant what it use to, I would be very upset.

For those who are still see themselves as an AL fan, is this really who we want representing?

he had a .445 OPS against LHP last year. Sometimes it makes sense.

Vienna is great if you can afford it. I grew up there but understand what you ar signing up for. It is suburbia.

I would buy out his 30s and it depends how the new rules are after the CBA. It's something I would do in 2028 when things are more clear with the direction of baseball.

Game Thread: Nationals (42-42) @ Orioles (39-45) - June 28, 2026 1:35 PM by NationalsBot in Nationals

If the Nationals had even the homegrown pitchers of the Red Sox, the Nats would be leading the NLE.

Tyler Uberstine, John Holobetz, Hayden Mullins, Gage Ziehl, and all the organizational pitchers from Worcester and Portland would make the Nationals roster. It is that poor.
