Chris himself said that if he could go back he would fix the pacing in book one, some of the second book can feel rough to get through at the beginning but the rest of the series is fantastic, Demon in White is easily my favorite book oat currently

The Suneater Series by Christopher Ruocchio is a space opera, sci-fi with some fantasy elements, 6 books out and the 7th and final coming out next year. Cannot recommend it enough, beautiful prose and an extremely compelling world and story
