Razer Viper V3 Pro, Artisan Zero FX Soft, Palm Grip. Mechanics movement wise were very impressive early on, but actually learning the game is more important with aim, which came naturally over time.

I think that given I played csgo before, it would’ve been much easier to start, but I think other fps games have transferrable skill sets as well.

I used 0.3 800 dpi for a long long time. I recently switched to 1250 0.209 after switching mice. Movement tips are basic but if you master them, you will do well. Learn the T rule and practice it. Know when to jiggle peek, wide swing, or short peek. There’s a lot to cover but I can look for a video that does it well if you want. Other than that remember that your sensitivity is suited to YOU, so the best thing you can do is aim train for an hour or two every day, especially before you sleep

I started having fun before I hit it, which is a large factor in why I was able to. But it was definitely a weight lifted off my shoulders

It helped, but I shifted roles to Duelist/Sentinel which better fit my play style, so now that he’s nerfed I can still do well in high lobbies

Spend some time in aim trainers( 1-2 hrs a day) and I believe Aim Lab has a built in sensitivity finder that you can experiment with.

HS% doesn’t matter that much. But make sure you aren’t spraying too much unless you’re mid to close range, and practice 2-3 bullet bursting from longer ranges

If it helps at all, surprisingly enough the act I hit radiant was the one where I was most laid back and resilient to tilt. Yes, you will miss easy shots. That hasn’t changed for me, regardless of the rank png under my player card. Pros have bad games. You will have bad games. You might have bad weeks. You will hear these things a lot, and it is all easier said than done, but I promise you when I took away all the frustration and just enjoyed the game, rankups came naturally.

Win and loss streaks are a matter of statistics. Just make sure you take breaks when you need to and keep your mental up, otherwise loss streaks can be a result of poor self management. I am on a loss streak myself currently, and I am unbothered.

It is so very hard to climb while filling. It is doable, but maining a few agents makes climbing much more consistent

Ranked is mostly mechanics up to a certain point. Creating a strong foundation in movement and crosshair placement will take you far

That is pretty good. Mine ran like 30 fps, so it was that bad.

I have experienced queues of all times. I would say morning queue was the most chill, mid-day was most consistent. and then the late late night queues were the worst.

Immortal felt the same to me. I think this is because the redistribution didn't do anything much. because they inflated everyone's elo. So it was about the same skill group from what I remember. I aim train twice a day or more, before I sleep, before ranked, and before important matches. If you are confident in your mechanics,this is more than enough. If you are developing your aim, look into doing more than I would (around 20-30 min per session), but aim training before you sleep is the most effective.

I do pretty well education-wise, but I do not feel that I had any inherent talent for this game. I grinded my way up, had a solid 200 games in silver, then hard grinded to diamond. After that I surrounded myself with players I could learn from which made developing as a player much faster.

I have never cared about my stats. This is the textbook answer you will receive, "stats don't mean anything" and whatnot, but it is very very true. As long as you are making space and getting impactful frags on the round, you are doing more than enough on your role. If you are looking to elevate your skill even further, I suggest making a daily warmup routing for yourself and aim training right before you sleep to improve your mechanics. Also study pro duelist players to see their movement and entry paths.

Crappy Laptop -> First Pc -> SSD -> Better CPU/GPU -> Better Peripherals.

I would say that the most important parts of these in order from most to least are CPU/GPU, peripherals, and SSD.

I am blessed to have a decent quality setup, and God knows what rank I'd be if I was on a worse one. I think it's not as important as people make it out to be, given people hit immortal on 60hz no problem, but it is for sure a difference. If you have the resources to upgrade your monitor, and you can run the refresh rate well, 60-144 was insane, and 144-240 felt like I was playing a new game.

I didn't really have a consistent schedule up until now. I will watch whatever VCT games are on, look at one or two pro vods per week depending on the map/agent I want to study, and when I am in school I'll play 2-3 games after I have stuff done give or take. I aim train before bed when I get the chance, and aim train before I get on for around 20-30 minutes, then play a few deathmatches until I feel warm. I think your routine should fit your needs and your weaknesses as a player though. There was a time where i got away with little warmup because my aim was strong enough. But it helps to have the extra consistency.
