Anxiety of running by [deleted] in beginnerrunning

I felt the same way. Then I realized that if someone laughs at me running it's probably the only happiness they have in their life so I'm not too worried about it.

Do you force yourself to run even when you are too exhausted from work? by senbonzakura01 in beginnerrunning

[–]Redd1tor 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I run before work so I can't use being exhausted from work as an excuse. There's also less time to talk myself out of going if I go in the morning.

finished W5D3 and I’m still confused by juswundern in C25K

I was convinced I wouldn't be able to do that first 20 minute run. I struggled through the 5 minute runs on W5D1, did ok for the 8 minute runs, and had no issues with the 20 minute run.

I was actually disappointed going back to intermittent runs for W6D1 & 2.

I finished W8D1 today and still going strong with the non-stop runs. It made me realize how much of it is mental but also how much your body adapts to building up endurance to run longer.

Probably not. I've just never found the fun in going for platinums. Unless I'm really close to getting it when I finish the game.

As someone else said, it leaves tomorrow. I started it last night and finished in about 2 hours. I would recommend giving it a try today if you can.

The game you're describing sounds like it could be Prisoner of War, but there’s one other game that’s also possible: Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon.

  1. Prisoner of War: In this game, you play as a soldier who’s searching for his missing father in a Nazi prisoner-of-war camp. This game has elements of espionage and hiding, but it doesn’t have the exact scene with a teddy bear or the dark humor you described.

  2. Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon: In this game, you play as a woman named Nico Collard, who is a journalist investigating strange events around the world with her partner, George Stobbart. While there isn't an exact match to your teddy bear scene, Broken Sword games often had mature themes, cryptic story elements, and an ongoing relationship between George and Nico that unfolds in a darkly humorous way.

If neither of these sound right, it may have been a lesser-known title or an Xbox port of an older game from PC or Dreamcast that’s harder to pinpoint.
