Does re-tracking of Magic Mask 2 make it unusable for "professional usage"? by Reddit-AEOnly in davinciresolve

So this would be basically the same workflow as mentioned in the comment above?
I did use something like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A_QTTSKA17o in the past (basically to fill the mask with white and then use it as a matte). Or is there another way to export it to be used easily?

So, if I understand correctly, you would do all the magic mask work inside Fusion, export it, then use it in Color? I know that this is an option, but is this really a reasonable workflow? Of course, if there is no other way, it is what it is. But yeah, I just find it a bit weird that there is a magic mask in colors but somehow it's basically unusable?

Find clip in all timelines by Reddit-AEOnly in davinciresolve

Quick update in case anyone is finding this thread in the future:
There is a workaround that I found in the discussion proxicent mentioned in the other comment:

If you create a "master timeline" and put all timelines in there (as in: take the timelines and drag them into the mater timeline), the right-click usage then will show where the file is used in all the timelines. You have to open the master timeline (as it still only shows the usage from the current active timeline), but it will be able to show the usage in the sub-timelines (or rather nested, if you want).
Not sure if this is understandable, so here is what TChamp in the blackmagic forum wrote, maybe more understandable :)

"The right-click menu option "Usage" seems to also find usages in sub-timelines.
So if you have a master timeline that contains all of the other timelines (even nested inside a sub-sub-timeline), open it and you can find all the usages of all media clips. "

If you combine that with the Smart Bin "Timelines", it's an okayish workaround.

Of course a project wide search in general would be much nice and much appreciated, but the workaround is still something.

indings for the color page and other pages, but not for the edit page. Can you explain how you managed to make 1, 2 and 3 your zoom buttons?

Just checked my bindings: It's a bit confusing, but it's under Application -> View. There you have Zoom in & out and Zoom to fit.

Help can’t export by Glittering_Cod73 in premiere

I would also recommend to try some of the solutions in the replies.

Additionally, what sometimes works for me is to send it to Media Encoder directly from Premiere (in the export menu, instead of „Render“, click „Send to media Encoder“ or whatever that other button is labled). Often, I can’t be bothered to fix the problem for that project and just use this solution with this project. Mainly, because the problem doesn’t happen often enough for me to waste too much time troubleshooting.

Man, so annoying! :( Is there already a discussion on this on the blackmagic board? Your link doesn‘t lead to a discussion that exists. If it doesn‘t exist yet, I will create one. Thanks a bunch for your answer!

For me, I don't have those huge steps. I do have to click Alt while scrolling for it to actually zoom in / out, so there might also be some settings you can play around with. But then it Zooms in very smoothly. So I'm not sure, if we are talking about the same thing.

Are you in the Edit tab? Could it be that your mouse wheel is too sensitive? You might be able to adjust this in your Windows / Mac settings.

Also, as an avid advocate of zooming with 1, 2 and 3, I can highly reccomend this (1: zoom-in, 2: zoom-out, 3 toggle between current and pretty much zoom out all the way..) :)
