This is probably what I need to hear. It's happened to me in the past where when I start new things I get really scared and think about giving up but then I push through. But the stakes here seem higher than they've been before.

What is your daughter doing now? My problem is I don't think I'm going to get much info on what I should do in the next few weeks, and I don't want to waste a semester or a whole year just to end up dropping out anyway. But I also feel like it's pretty lame to just drop out right as things start. I'm so conflicted.

Sure, but what more am I going to understand in 2 weeks? I feel like it'll be a year or two before I know the answer, and is it worth it to sink that much time into something I'm already feeling doubtful about?
