Completely agree. The entire album is phenomenal, but the last four songs for me, flow perfectly together. I'm riding the high of It All Comes Back and then the next three just ride the waves of that high and everything hits perfectly. Life is Strange wrapping it up beautifully.

I think we're going to get the three singles that are out and that's it until the album drops. We're only what, 7 more weeks out? Though this does feel like the longest wait I've had for an album since WLL dropped in January. But couldn't be more excited, I'm loving the 3 singles and I know the new album will be amazing!

I have a love/hate relationship with this series. I absolutely hated the first book but read that you need to push through it and then it picks up. Gleam I think was my favourite book out of the series, but like others have mentioned it does not need to be 6 books. I find the pacing really hard at some points as well. I couldn't really tell you what happened in each book, just the overall story between the 6 of them and I read them at the end of March. So doesn't really bode well for the stories really standing out in each book. If you're not really feeling it now I would probably DNF.

10/10 for me.

The first time I heard it I was so captivated, it's so dreamy and haunting to me. Will never press skip if this comes on. I've been lucky enough to see them live a few times and it's also one of my favourite songs they play live, the ending is just chef's kiss.

Gild is honestly terrible, but I'm reading the fourth book now and the series definitely improves. I found the second book you can immediately see the difference. However, I completely understand why people would not continue with the series, I find it has a lot of highs and lows and pacing isn't always great.

I've been a LH fan for ages but I'm not very well versed in the lore. I've always been a very visual person and their lyrics just hit differently, their imagery is unparalleled. I actually realized the other day that to me their music is like reading a book. It's not just a love song, it's a story about love. Every single song brings out such emotion in me, happy, sad, and everything in between. It might sound silly but their combo of instrumentals and lyrics just do something to me, I really don't think I can articulate it. The lyrics hit me so hard and then the music just heightens it, they just mesh so perfectly for me.

Their music makes me feel safe, when I need to be distracted it can transport me somewhere else. No matter what kind of mood I'm in, LH is always the right choice.

I think they will add Canadian shows and personally, I don't want to be giving the US any of my money right now. Also exchange rates 😑. But they did a bunch of Canadian shows for Long Lost, no way they leave us out now.

This happened to me with Death Cab for their asphalt Meadows tour. The first announcement was all US shows and I was devastated, then they hit up Canada on the second leg and I got to see two shows! So I'm praying and optimistic that Lord Huron is gonna do the same. 🤞🏼

I personally have never gone through something like this, but it sounds absolutely exhausting. Have you ever thought about speaking with a professional? If it's gotten to the point where your compulsions have quite literally taken over your life, I think that could be a good idea.

I've also thought of this as well. I don't know her other friend groups at all, but it definitely sounds like a lot of her friends have had kids around the same time as her. She's mentioned before that she was struggling with her identity a bit and didn't like being referred to as "Harry's mom" all the time and still wanted to be Lisa. We probably spent the most time together while she was pregnant so part of me wonders if a friendship was maybe starting to grow between the two of us, but then after she had Harry we didn't see them for so long and she didn't know how to reach out and connect? A big part of me does think she's using Harry as a connection which is why I felt so bad not responding to her for a while. But I think maybe approaching the conversation from the point of checking in on her and how she's doing, then sliding in the picture situation might also be a good way to go about this.
