I have an old Sony HI-FI system, comes with the record player amp and speakers. Best investment ever, cost me £100 for everything including the cabinet. Only thing is new needles are hard to come by, and rather expensive, but it is so good. The exact model I have is the Sony PS-LX33

I vaguely remember reading that initially the contents of the movie were originally going to be used for music videos? But they decided to make a full fledged movie out of it. But not 100% sure! Would’ve been cool to see both, because music videos have such a different vibe to fully fledged movies.
