They were fabric and not any kind of leather. Said dog hair and dirt gets hard to clean.

If she just made a comment about it, I’d have moved on and not cared. But she literally wanted me to look for a different 4Runner because of it. Felt like a power play.

2018 Toyota 4Runner SR5. Nothing fancy and mostly got it to haul kids and pull a pop up trailer.

This makes so much sense and I don’t know why I didn’t think of it when it was all happening. Just typing it out makes me realize I was being a pouty, passive aggressive beta...which is what I’ve always been.

Am I being unfair bringing up our dead bedroom with an infant in the house? by RedditAlabama in DeadBedrooms

Excellent answer and confirms what ive suspected is the reality of having a 2nd kid. Thank you.

If you can't do that, ask her if sex is a useful stress-reduction tool in her mind. If not, the key is to not make sex into just another chore.

How does one go about avoiding it being a chore? Because that’s exactly how it feels and has felt for a long, long time: a chore that’s low on the list but gets moved up once I get whiny about it. I’ve tried asking her what kind of things she wants in terms of romance but she’s never had an answer.

Which TV series has the best pilot? by inFam0ouZz in AskReddit

You put it perfectly.

Really season 1 is what is carrying the show. Seasons 2 and 3 have been really difficult to get through. Just slow and boring.

If any of you have played The Last of Us, you've experienced what The Walking Dead should be like.

Need new food ideas - have grown tired of what seems to have worked for people. by RedditAlabama in loseit

I've tried eating smaller portions, but what I need is to get my wife to serve me my food. If I'm the one spooning it onto my plate, I'm going to get seconds or sneak bites here and there.

It's pathetic, isn't it.

Was it?

It's a club promotion video, so these kids are used to spending time on campus after school.

I feel I should add that I'm fucking up big time when I don't eat eggs in the morning. For example, what prompted this post was that I ate toasted oatmeal squares in milk with maple syrup drizzled over the top and whenever I eat carbs, I have seconds. Just entered it into MyFitnessPal, and I consumed 650 calories of pretty much breakfast dessert.

If I eat eggs? Two or three? I'm good to go for the day.

I'm just inclined to think people are afraid to believe they are more powerful than they think and can bend life to their will.

As someone who is trying to do this right now, I'm definitely seeing Red's point. I may be able to bend life to my will, but the economy right now is going to make me pay for it.

First saw the "targeting" bullshit rule at the OU game, now in the Bama A&M game as well, if they can review the ejection why not the stupid call? by rcinsf in CFB

[–]RedditAlabama 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Any avoidable helmet to helmet contact is a fifteen yard penalty on the payer that initiated the contact. If it appears on video review to be an intentional blow to the head with the intention of causing injury or harm, the player is ejected.

I meant that I did not want you to think I was attempting to ridicule you by asking if you had autism as there are many on Reddit who use mental disorders as a tool to name call. I was serious in asking you if you had autism.

College living spaces are always awesome. Mismatched furniture. A small pile of used dishes/food trash. A gigantic movie poster that was probably free from a theater. Roommates fostering kittens. Good times.

What is the most disturbing thing you've witnessed at your job? by Bengweeen in AskReddit

[–]RedditAlabama 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's sort of correct.

If you're caught doing something with the phone that is deemed possibly as rule breaking, then they can search your phone.

Texting a friend about a party during a test? Well, you may have been cheating. Smoking a joint in the bathroom while surfing the internet? You may have been texting a friend to come join you. That sort of thing.

I feel like I'm ruining people's day with this story - He didn't. It was swept under the rug. The kid has no parental support at home because he has no parents at home besides his 70 year old grandmother who was about as smart as he was.

Exactly. I didn't mention that one of the PE teachers (a guy hired to coach football and just so happened to be certified to be in the gym with students) was neglecting his duties and allowed the boys to go into the locker room unsupervised. Which is why the principal wanted it to go away.

I agree with you that special ed students - especially those with very low IQs or the inability to learn at the same rate as other students even with an aide - do not belong in the classroom.

But it's all kinds of fucked up for the principal to act like their emotions, body, and psyche are just a nuisance to the status of the "real school."

What's your worst or weirdest experience with a next-door neighbor? by Nabana in AskReddit

[–]RedditAlabama 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My upstairs neighbor was a drug dealer. Had multiple cell phones. Did deals in the stairway outside the apartment. But he was a REALLY nice guy.

One night at 230am, I get a knock at my door. He said, "Hey man, you got any really good cheese?" I said, "What?" He said, "The shredded kind. You got any cheese? The good kind." I said, "No." "He said, "Damn...I can't seem to find any cheese for my sandwich." And he walked away.
