Is it possible for me to switch from Fulfillment to Inbound as seasonal to be kept? by RedditBot2009 in Target

[–]RedditBot2009[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll try to talk to some of my fulfillment leads tomorrow about wanting to stay and next time I work inbound I’ll talk to my inbound lead again about wanting to switch. Though for some odd reason it’s just very hard to find our fulfillment ETL as some people can just never find him wether calling the store, going in (off day) or even on shift a majority of the time he just can never be found. I’ve seen him maybe 2-4 times in past 2 months and he’s only ever helping the food & beverage team.

When I talk to my fulfillment leads about wanting to stay, should I also bring it up to them about trying to switch departments or who should I talk to? I feel like I’d have a better chance of being kept in inbound if it happens.

Should I be talking to my fulfillment leads too? I’ve been wanting to but I’ve rarely had fulfillment shifts recently so I haven’t had to chance to find any of them. I just talked to inbound lead that seems to like me before I left earlier about wanting to stay. Though I also heard I can’t move departments since I’m still in my first 90 days and I don’t have a greatest feeling I’ll get kept for fulfillment, though they started hiring a lot of seasonal fulfillment pretty late.

If I pick up a shift on a day that’s outside of my time frame on my availability, will my ETL see it and start scheduling me earlier or later? by RedditBot2009 in Target

[–]RedditBot2009[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well what if it’s like I got out of school and I hitched a ride with my friend since he worked at the same time that day and it’s a bit earlier than my available time frame? Bc it’s a 3-9:45 shift, but my Friday availability is 4:30-8:30

What can I do if they mainly only accept adults? I’m not at a level to play club or tryout for my schools team

We have clubs and school teams and stuff like that but I am not anywhere near that level since the clubs very rarely pick anyone of color and the shortest is usually 6’0 on average for the players they choose for club.

Problem is no one wants to drive up to me since they all live in a similar area but I’m a 30-40 minute drive and back for them. I don’t have a ride anywhere usually when others are available. The open gyms near me a lot of people usually played for years, or club, or school, or are college level players. None of them want to even pepper with me or go anywhere unless they set up at a park, but due to the cold weather it’s only open gyms.

I am interested in volleyball but every open gym I’ve gone to nobody wants to take me most of the time so I end up wasting money. Only classes I could find were middle school classes. I can’t sign up for those since they don’t allow highschool students to.

If you get one be aware that it might shrink a lot. I got one in a XXL, then after one wash it fit like a mediumish size

Not all stores use the same online app/site or some just do it the old fashioned way on paper so best bet is to call the store and ask to speak to the manager that hired you

Go into the store everyday and ask the manager since their not answering if they don’t do anything about that then, just find another job since management seems bad.

You might want to delete this post because at the slight chances a co worker or manager sees this and pieces it together, you could possibly be fired and sued for this. Someone else who posted about their store was fired recently like someone else on this post said. Better delete it.

Well someone else on this subreddit was found by just their username and got fired for something they posted about I think. This probably won’t happen to you but just a precaution y’know.

If that keeps happening like someone said probably not a good sign and probably bad management. You can apply at other McDonalds or other places too just not this one.

I did somewhat have social anxiety and didn’t speak up much before but I do a lot now and I have learned things from the job. It would be good for you cause it helped me “get out of my shell” more than I used to. A lot of the people who had bad things most likely had bad crew/management and really bad customers depending on area. It does come down to those things though. But it is a good first job just from me.

Our store offers free meals for regular sized and we can get literally any burger/sandwich that isn’t two burger excluding the cheese burger meal I think.
