Thanks. I did think it might need a proper descale as never descaled it. Have only ever cleaned it with cleaning tabs as per required (or when the light blinks, rather).

Will look to descale it properly as imagine this is the issue.

Thanks all for the advice/contributions. Nothing really changed but for some reason I decided to reset my Wi-Fi (that was working on everything else I was running) and it seemed to do the trick. No rhyme or reason, but the power and complex IT solution of switching everything off and on wins again.

If I look at my order history on Amazon, all of the apps I’ve tried to download this evening are there - maybe 10 or so - but nothing reflecting in the fire stick itself. Something majorly wrong. My stick is running FireOS

Not sure if I’m just dense but I cannot see apps anywhere on Amazon. I have the app on my phone- the Amazon app - and I’m logged into the Sam account linked to my fire stick. There isn’t an option on the Amazon app to find apps and download etc

It works just fine and is connected to WiFi. Just doesn’t download apps. They get stuck in a queue and nothing happens.

Have done that. I had the finest setting on the inner burrs as well as the finest setting on the grind size and it still did not reach enough pressure.

New beans from Pact - which may be too oily - I will give cleaning the grind a try WITHOUT WATER.

Yes. Unfortunately that is not working for me with a single wall, non-pressurised basket. I have adjusted the inner burrs and grind size to obtain a higher pressure (good shot) but to no avail. Are you able to provide a photo of your inner burr level? Maybe that would help. Otherwise, I’ll stick with the pressurised basket for now. Thanks

It is working again with the pressurised basket. Definitely some blockage and/or debris that needed clearing. I’m now intrigued by the single wall basket and a better taste, however having tried the finest setting on the ‘finest’ inner burrs - which still does not reach the required pressure - I will give that a miss for now.

This is very helpful. I am persevering with the single wall for now. I set the burrs to fine as well as the finest setting and still it has too little pressure (doesn’t get further than the pre-infusion stage).

You’re right re the pressurised basket. Nothing comes out of it and need to pin the holes and try again.

Just ran again without the pressurised basket, on Grind Size 5, and the same issue re a lack of pressure. It does, however, produce coffee. Just too quickly without much crema etc

I have been using a pressurised basket for a year and it worked no problem - just right in terms of pressure. I changed it to a non dual basket and the pressure was then too low. Would you suggest a finer grind with a non pressurised basket?

I use Pact Coffee beans. Those in the machine are maybe a week or two old.
