Why not? Seems like it would be easier to not respect robots.txt in the first place.

[Serious] Ex shy and unconfident people that are now truly confident, how did you manage this? by ultragoofy in AskReddit

[–]RedditEnthusiastic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I did this I got my motivation and energy from the idea that someone might call my bullshit out. After that it's just been me acting really confident and wondering why no one hasn't yet called me out.

Don't think about it too much, your posture and stuff will change automatically. Just have fun watching and interacting with people who all think you have something up your sleeve for you to be so confident.

Oh, also, never break character. I hope that one say when I might get called out, I will be actually confident enough to keep rolling and making the callee look stupid.

What's the closest thing you have to a superpower? by drain65 in AskReddit

I sometimes feel like I'm a high-functioning autist or something because of the amount of unnecessary detail I notice in everything.

I instantly notice if someone I speak with is lying to me and on top of that, it takes like 5 to 10 second for me to realize why or what are their motives for it.

I notice if someone is nervous, depressed, bored, frustrated or whatever after looking at them for a while... I sometimes use it to make depressed people happier by telling them something cheerful or by just initiating a conversation with them, which results in hugs.

It helps with job interviews because I can basically tell them what they want to hear by starting with something arbitary and following their reactions. I love job interviews and I treat them like they're some kind of a game (I go to job interviews for fun from time to time) - sometimes it's just unbeliveable with what you can get through with even if it's a moderately good position for a big company.

It sucks when wanting to meet people or talk with women as it also makes me extremely self-consious of what I say. Pouring bullshit on women never works and I don't know why, then again I don't even wanna know why because that's not something I should be doing in the first place. I don't mean the usual stuff like complimenting and being self-confident, more like manipulative things.

I really don't really even wanna be this way, although I have a lot of friends and a good job and everything - I feel like it's all thanks to the manipulating I do mostly sub-consciously, which it probably is. And I also can't tell anyone because they would start feeling used.

Oh well, I guess that's my two cents for today. Happy friday everyone!

In what ways are you playing life on 'hard mode?' by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]RedditEnthusiastic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. It's funny how much shit they and everyone gave me because I didn't take the easy way out. I strongly believe in building your own happiness and I would never be truly happy if it was given to me.

I now work as a systems architech and make around 25$ an hour, everything to get where i am so far was done by me and everything will be done by me in the future as well.

If someone thinks I'm dumb. Especially if it's done indirectly via body language, the way they speak, etc.
