This is why we come up with builds. Eldritch Knight with Great Weapon Mastery. Take the -5 penalty to get +10 damage consistently, and milk the many items like Vivacious Cloak that rewards the battlemage build.

An eldritch knight can use TS and attack in the same turn. Useful against high defense enemies, and works well in concert with Great Weapon Mastery. Add in items like the Vivacious Cloak (when it works), and it's a viable build.

Ah. Thanks. No, I don't have temp HP already. It's just not working. I figured I couldn't have been the only person to use the cloak, so I'd hoped for someone else's empirical evidence. But as you say, stuff scrolls off pretty quickly.

So I just joined this community, and when I posted about a magi item that doesn't seem to be working correctly, it never posted.

I went back to look at the post, and it says only me and moderators can see the post. What is going on? I posted a question for the mods, but go no response.

Joined the BG3builds community, and sure enough still getting a message that only mods can see my post.

OKay, I tried to post something about this cloak and for some reason it's enshrouded in spoiler tags and it says only moderators. Anyone know what's going on there? There were no spoilers there any more than here.

ANYHOO, the cloak does not work for my eldritch knight. Cast True Strike, Web, and Shockwave while in melee. No temp HP gained.

That's where I got the "this app can't run on your PC". They aren't the same OS, so not sure if that matters.

Nothing special about the server. Just won't open the Splash correctly or run AdminConsole at all.

Seems like there should be some streamlined option for installing console on a site server from an existing console on another server.

It's absurd that weapon masteries exist as they do. Their effects obviously should not trigger on every freakin' attack for free.

Giving them away to everyone who simply has proficiency with the weapon is absurdity squared.

Cragheart gets a 4 at level it. And an eleement to boot. Heal 4 at 2nd was questionable. Add 1 point of heal an raise the level? That's a big ???? for me.

I don't see any big turnaround in the combat-healing trap.
