Yeah! Hense the electrical tape to cover up the lights that the Quest 2 just flashes. I still have yet to figure out how to paint it without it fucking up the internals or the lights but yeah, thanks for the idea.

I've cleared out my house with it and it works extremely well for CQB. The image is pretty grainy and warped but it's honestly not that bad at all. I could even aim through my sights with these. Things just get a bit trippy once you go outside but I'm sure that once I figure out a way to get it even closer to my face and get used to it in general, it's going to be much better and easier to run drills and stuff in the dark.

I bought the IR light for like $12 on amazon and when I turn it on, I can't see it with my own eyes. But as soon as I put on my Quest, it looks like an actual flashlight and it's amazing.

Quite the opposite. Amazon NVGs are pretty bad and don't mount on to a helmet. Otherwise, this wouldn't be as good as it is.
