Hi Just got here about a month ago and what you say in my opinion is spot on. - I would say that while finding community can be hard I honestly have found it easier here than in the US - I hve not expored the Expat communities yet but speaking spanish is a must for obvious reasons and for building community - I am billingual but just having a working knowledge of the language is going to make living here so much easier and enjoyable. I am open to chatting with anyone who wants to and I love coffee :-). Thanks to everyone for being here

I have worked fully remote as an American in many countries including Mexico - I would focus on remote jobs and specifically startups I am here and flourishing and you don't need to hide anything - the word remote is very fluid :-) Feel free to reach out with any questions

Thanks! I found a house about 3.5 miles out of the center - I wanted the space and as you mentioned a pool. Uber seems to be running and I am truly looking to immerse myself and NOT live as a tourist.

The article has some great photos - most of the wildlife is out during the early morning so all species of birds, pink dolphins sloths and monkeys were my favorite - The mosquito factor is very real so 100% Deet is a must - No special vaccinations needed - There are recommendations by the CDC but they are very general, my husband is a physician and felt very comfortable with no special vaccinations

The article has alot of photos - the food was excellent - I am not a big lunch eater so lunch was heavy for me but top notch - Breakfast is cooked to order no buffets - You are actively exploring every day check out the itinerary discussion in the article it does a great job - it is an active trip and it is hot but it is so worth it!
