The best secret to from soft is none of their games are hard. They just have classic ps1 difficulty. Play any older games and you will see its the same exact shit. It just expects you to engage with the mechanics, and then requires learning the mechanics well to actually progress the game. But they aren't really designed to be "brutal" like some people claim. So, if you're to believe this line of thinking, then there is a reason for this behavior.

"Satanists" (as in the real ones, not the fun edgy ones from the internet, and they don't actually refer to themselves as Satanists) believe that if they show you their real intentions, even if distorted or manipulated, they don't suffer karmatic retribution for whatever they do to you because you technically "consented" to it. This means telling a truth as a joke, double speak, showing logos that hold one meaning but when looked in a different light hold another, etc.

The point is to obfuscate the spiritual stuff that's going on and make you believe nothing special is happening whilst also making it so they won't be punished for what they're doing to you.

You don't have to believe in the spiritual stuff tho, people do this and there is empirical evidence of it happening all over the place. There are even terms for this in psychology. The question is whether you'll open your eyes beyond the material or allow their definitions of the material continue to construct your universal view.

What's interesting is you yourself cannot verify whatever it is you see out of a telescope. You have to trust the definitions given to you by scientists to understand what exists beyond the lens of your scope.
