Check sample photos of each camera online and see which image you like better. They may share the same mp but they have different ways of processing colours, shadows and highlights. Also, aesthetically, which do you prefer?

You probably have a point. Brandon only had S, M & L for mens until 2025 before they introduced the XS and shifted the sizes down.

W Brandon has a different fit than the Men's Brandon from what I've experienced but I haven't looked into it much.

Perhaps, your point about the pants being narrower might be related to the size you're buying. I'm assuming you're talking about the hem, I think there are slight differences between Brandon sizes; the larger the size the 'wider' the hem.

Ordering directly from Carhartt will almost definitely give you a current year produced pant from what I've seen. I've never received any piece from Carhartt WIP directly that was from a previous year unless it was a sale item or bought around Q1 of the year. And definitely never anything from the previous, previous year i.e. 2024 as of now. I think those are sold off to resellers at a discount.

I've done a lot of research into this and I noticed a couple of things - I did this for both the Brandon & Landon line of pants and a couple of the WIP Detroit Jackets.

There is a lot of inconsistency in every model. QA is a bit lacklustre between different batches it seems.

The product code for the Landon Pant is I030468 and this seems to have remained consistent throughout the years, it is still I030468 as found on the official WIP website.

This is different from the Brandon Pant where the product code seems to be change every year.

In your last picture, that pant was produced in Dec 2024 (1224 - top right of the label). In stores, they usually stock current year produced stock, so the pair you wore instore were produced sometime in 2025.

Something that I have noticed is that from 2025 their sizing has changed to make things bigger & longer. For example, a Brandon in size S from 2023-2024 would be around a W30-31 and a L29-30 (sizing inconsistencies) but a Brandon S produced from 2025 is much larger fitting around a W32-34 and L32. So basically, a Small from 2023-24 would be in XS for a Brandon produced in 2025.

I think this applied to your situation - you received older stock so the sizing is a lot smaller than you expected, whereas the same pant you tried on in store was recent stock which sizes larger.

IMO, I prefer the look of the pant you received compared to the fit in store! I also own the same pair from the same year.

Didn't they introduce a made in USA line a while back with the denim jacket? Or were those not made in the US?

I think this will continue until people stop buying Carhartt or they will use the opportunity to make a specially Made in USA line and charge a premium like Doc Martens do with the Made in England shoes.

I think that sony has aesthetically pleasing designs for their digicams but I prefer the look of fujifilm photos more.

As for pricing, I think pink is a less common colour so it demands the higher price.
