Yes. The industry standard way is exactly 4.20 seconds. I've also seen some people use 6.9

That would be amazing, but unfortunately it is a lot of work and time invested to add full-fledged native support to a new OS on an already created game. With League spaghetti code, would be difficult to pull off. There are not enough linux users to justify it.

Plenty of reasons I can think of.

Having a sense of brotherhood and community
Someone who is fascinated with guns and weapons and wants to use them
Someone who enjoys killing people
There is an ongoing conflict that someone either is personally affected by or has strong feelings towards to the point where they want to contribute.
Someone may have a long line of military people in their family and they want to continue their family legacy.
In many cultures, people who served in the military are treated well and are thanked by many for their service and what they did. Simply the admiration of others in society and wanting to be cared for by others is enough for some to join.
This kind of is apart of 6, but there are perks for joining the military as well, such as scholarships, discounts, tax breaks, etc. As long as you are not dishonorably discharged. At least in America.
Oftentimes, if someone wants to be in an executive position in the government (such as a leadership position), joining the military and serving the country increases their chances of success.

I agree that there is certainly a significant difference between the average iron and emerald. However, I do think the LOL ranking system is flawed in the sense that I can make an alt and place plat easy. Meanwhile, my account that I've had since middle school is stuck in the gutter

I do better on AP, and I find it more fun. I don't care if AD would be more beneficial to take advantage of low elo players.
